This is a return visit for us. Again we stayed in one of the 2 bedroom, 2 bath units. The price per night is more than reasonable; it is a bargain. Full disclosure requires that those TV addicts will experience withdraw. But the view is every changing and no commercials! The unit is bright and right at the water's edge....

We got a room with a balcony on the water. It was so great to stay in bed and watch the water and the birds. The room was not big and had very little furnitures but it was very very clean. There is no TV but who needs it when you had such great view! We had a good breakfast...

Okay, you just can't beat the view. Literary on the water - it's amazing. The place does have a residual smell of sardines - I guess that can't get it out of the wood work after it was a sardine factory forever. You actually don't notice it after an hour so it's not a big deal. Outside of that, its...

The room was comfortable, the view was great! No frills. Public areas did smell like fish, but it is a working wharf. Very nice people, good restaurant. Close to town, close to Campbell. Beautiful coastline and sunset and sunrise.

We went to Lubec to visit Campobello Island. There are a limited number of inns and hotels available. We found the Inn at the Wharf and thought it was a interesting use of an old facility. We loved the apartment overlooking the bay. Clean and quiet with a beautiful view. Nothing fancy but very unique place. The restaurant had great...

Came across The Inn at the Wharf while wandering around Lubec at the end of the day after hiking at Quoddy Head State Park. Needed a place for the night. Pleasantly surprised by the cannery-turned-inn. Large, clean, uncluttered room directly over the water with a great view. Tile and wood flooring which is much cleaner than the usual carpet. Very...

We had a nice stay here. Spent two nights. Rooms are not suites. They are hotel rooms that are clean and comfy and ours had a deck. It kind of felt like you were on a cruise ship. Yes...it smells a bit fishy but no big deal. I didn't like the common area where guests had to make the morning...

I guess I ought to start with the good things. The place is clean and the view is wonderful. The free coffee in the morning was good, but the muffins were not! Now for my complaints. What is called a suite on their website is nothing more than a motel room. We had booked the room for 3 nights as...

Our check in was interrupted by a shy young man who came to the desk and said" I want to cash out my winkles.". Turns out that the owners of this place not only remodeled an abandoned and ruined sardine cannery into a great motel. They also created a lobster and .... periwinkle... buying wholesaler for the local lobsterman and...

My husband, sister, and I spent the nights of September 16 and 17, 2014 at The Inn at the Wharf. We had read Trip Adviser reviews and read some complaints about fish smells in the room, but we loved the location and figured we would try it and just open the windows to let in fresh air. Upon entering the...
