The owners have done a great job of restoring this building. Tastefully decorated with mostly antiques. Stayed in a room with king bed that adjoins with a gathering room that anyone can use with sink, microwave, fridge. It has a large window where you can sit and watch the seals which I did when we had a hard rain. At 7:00 a.m. really good coffee and real cream, muffin and yogurt are put in the gathering room for when you get up. Worth getting up for. They have the best food in Lubec but it is only open certain nights at 5:00 and you need reservations or you may not get in. They also have very good servers. Restaurant is located below the rooms. We enjoyed our stay.
Outstanding food and ambiance in the remote town of Lubec. The culinary highlight of our time here. Kudos to Larry who guided us through the menu and proved to be an excellent mixologist. Make reservations, open limited days this time of year.
We spent two nights here and really enjoyed it. Our room was comfortable and connected to a common space with a living area, microwave/refrigerator/kitchen sink, dining table. Each morning coffee and muffins/yogurt were set out for us. The view of the Narrows, boats, islands and memorial was wonderful. One evening it was fogged in and the next was the most beautiful pink sunset. Would definitely stay here again!
We were in the area to visit Campobello and stumbled upon this excellent restaurant. One of their specials was a lobster dinner for $26. It consists of a voice of a large salad or vegetables and choice of potatoes. The lobster was large! We left satiated. The next night we returned for more. My husband got the lobster dinner again and I got the lobster stew. The stew was full of chunks of lobster, no potatoes or anything else. Amazing! This is the BEST! The owners were present and welcoming. Service was good.
Perfect spot in beautiful, downtown Lubec. Historic building that has been wonderfully rehabbed. The view from the 'Narrows Suite' is outstanding with sea dogs-a-plenty. The owner is very friendly and made sure we had a very pleasurable stay. Highly recommended.
Lubec is a small village catering to travelers headed to Campobello. The accommodations are very good. We enjoyed dinner here and the owner was ever present being sure our stay was enjoyable. The location is convenient to Campobello.
We just stopped here for drinks while we were vacationing in Lubec for a few days. Fancy and nice place to stop by for dinner or drinks! We sat by the window and it was a great view. Friendly staff too!
We love this restaurant. We have eaten here multiple times and the food is delicious!!! Beautiful setting the views are amazing!!! The harbor is so picturesque in Lubec! The staff and owner were all so nice and friendly! We will be back! They have a great wine list!
We love the view from sitting room. Quaint inn, wonderful bedding , muffins in the morning and restaurant on premises with great food a plus. Have stayed here several times and never disappointed. Can’t wait to return on 2019.
Right "downtown" in Lubec so you can walk anything and everything you want to see, do or any restaurant/tavern at which you want to eat. Convenient to Quoddy Head. Our stay in the Narrows Suite was excellent. Huge space to stretch out in after days on the road - more like renting an apartment or condo. W/D to clean up the clothes mid-trip. Walk-in shower, much preferable to a tub/shower combo. Little kitchen area. Huge living room area with comfy seating facing the fire in the gas stove heater and near floor to ceiling windows looking out on Fundy and across to Canada and the little lighthouse. Seals playing in the water all day. But the irresistible touch? The muffins, yogurt and big pot of fresh, delicious coffee that magically appears each morning - the best muffins ever! Highly, highly recommend!!!!…
