Traveled to Lubec to run in the 1/2 marathon. What a great place to stay. We stayed in the Bay of Fundy Room (Room 9) which has a great view of the town of Lubec and the Bay. Nice restaurant and bar. The staff could not have been nicer.

Hotels are scarce in this area. If you want to visit Campabello which I highly recommend this is the hotel you want to stay at. The Restaraunt at the hotel is one of the few open in the area. The food was really good, seafood and salads, with a view of mainstreet, the lighthouse and seal activity. Just off the...

We made a last minute change to our itinerary and added Lubec to our trip. I called the Cohill's Inn and luckily they had a room with a water view. We arrived to a clean, bright room with a comfortable bed and small bathroom. The view was great! Everyone was very nice and I loved being right on the main...

Lubec is a small fishing village on the border and Cohill's is located right at the town docks. Service was great. Bar was great. Rooms were just right. Didn't get to eat there so I can't comment on the restaurant but the menu looked like good pub fare. Sizeable local contingent at the bar and eating there as well. Would...

Our motivation for booking here was because it was dog-friendly. What a surprise. A lovely, clean, and comfortable place to stay. Food was great and we ate on the upstairs deck (with our dog). Lubec is a wonderful, scenic, and quaint town. It doesn't take long to walk from one end of Main Street to the other. However, you can...

Great room, great location, great food, great staff, decent price. Lubec is the Easternmost town in the USA (Quaddy is part of Lubec), and the people there are just wonderful. I've been back to different hotels, and although this is NOT the cheapest hotel in Lubec, it is probably one of (if not THE) best ones there.

Aimiable, accommodating, modestly priced hotel cum afternoon/evening restaurant facing the Bay of Fundy where seals cavort, and where at night you can believe vampires roam, Cohill's is very welcoming. Situated a minute from Campobello Island in Canada where FDR had a summer home before he became President and where there is a superb bi-national historic site, Cohill's provides a cozy...

We loved this little place in lubec. This is our first visit to the area. The lodging choices are somewhat limited as its a tiny little downtown area. Cohills is located at the end of the Main Street on the waterfront. The location couldn't be better - as you have water all around you and the beautiful islands and coast...

Lubec is the easternmost point in the US, and it's not a day trip from anywhere. So when you visit this gorgeous spot on the planet, you'll need a place to stay. Cohill's is it. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful. My brother and I were visiting, and I had requested the only room that has two beds. When...

The Inn is a warm and comfortable place. Not fancy, but very clean and pleasantly appointed. The owner could not have been kinder or friendlier and went out of his way to help us secure our bicycles and make sure we had directions and advice on what to see and where to go. Many of the rooms have stunning views...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
Cohill's Inn is located at 7 Water Street in the town of Lubec, Maine overlooking the Bay of Fundy on one side and the Lubec Narrows on the other. We provide simple but appealing fare and overnight accommodations for those wishing to extend their stay in Lubec. Cohill's Inn is modeled after the traditional Irish pubs that we found and adored during our travels through the coastal towns of Ireland. We offer a warm and friendly atmosphere for people to gather for pleasant company, hearty fare and good cheer. Come enjoy a weekend or more in one of our nine smoke free rooms and watch the seals frolic just outside our Inn. Enjoy the casual charm of our traditional fishing village, the historic waterfront and the unspoiled beauty of Downeast Maine. ... more   less
