As motels go, this place was very good. The bed was soft, room was quiet and bathroom looked brand new. There was a fridge. Reception people were extremely friendly. While breakfast choices were limited, the doughnuts were exceptionally good. They were bakery quality, not stale junk out of a supermarket box. I was tempted to go back for more! It...

As a woman traveling alone, I did not like being in an area with a large number of suspicious looking people across the street at a park. The hotel staff locks this side at night. I did manage to go on a nice morning walk and the neighborhood on University Is quite beautiful.

Staff were very kind and helpful. Rooms cozy and it appears there has been some recent remodeling. Some needed vacuuming in certain corners. Overall, The University Inn was a great stay as it's so conveniently located. After work obligation, I was able to walk about to downtown, historic 4th St and Campus areas to explore. I highly recommend.

Great value for the price and very clean. It was very close to university as well. The big hotels for the same service and cleanliness, wanted around $200-$250 a night !! ^The Staff were very friendly and the check-in and the check-out was very smooth.

A very clean and quiet older motel-style property right near the U and close to Congress Street. only 5 minutes from our new favorite Sinaloan restaurant, Mariscos Chihuahua, on Grande Ave. You have to try the Camarones Culichi, a wonderful light poblano cream sauce with very tender shrimp. The staff is suuper friendly in this small neighborhood place. We'll be...

On Dec. 21, 2016, I tried to make online reservations through the University Inn website for Feb. 16 for 1 night. The website is truly misleading. On the left you choose check-in and check-out dates, on the right there is BOOK NOW. I put in my dates and clicked BOOK NOW. My mistake. I received my my email confirmation and...

Very comfortable and clean. Bathroom newly renovated. Owners very helpful. Provided good suggestions for restaurants and places to visit. Stayed an extra night because the location was close to most of downtown and the University and the highways to the national park
