The motel was clean and quiet, the desk agent was friendly and talkative. There has been a bit of remodeling done to the room which enhanced our stay. We would stay here again the next time we are in Tucson.

I'm always on the lookout for budget accommodations, and the University Inn fills the bill. Located at Stone and Speedway, it is convenient to Arizona University and 4th Street, Though a bit worn in places, it is still comfortable, well-run, and reasonably quiet (you can occasionally hear the horns of the trains going by several blocks away, but the sound... We came out for the ASU/uofA game and picked this for the low price and good reviews. We were more than satisfied! We met the owner Henry who is the sweetest guy ever. You can tell he takes pride in his hotel. The rooms were clean and each one has a mini fridge & microwave. It's so rare to have... More

Clean well maintained - your basic motel with a microwave, TV and mini fridge. Bed was comfortable - Near just about everything but I did drive my car instead of using public transit. I went to a concert and this was the best deal for the buck

Outside looks very plain, but room was large, updated and comfortable. Very clean. Nice simple continental breakfast. Good location - walking distance from 4th Avenue & University of Arizona. There is a small park across the street.

Because I was looking for a full-in place to stay on a Thursday "travel day" for a much bigger weekend-style school and Saturday football game...which always means that there will be lots of other people visiting too (for the same reason(s). The great lower than everywhere else + weekend price tag avoidance = simple proof that this is a truly... More

Nothing really wrong with this motel and it does what it needs to do but we just couldn't take to the place. On arrival the owner greeted us quite well but even though I had paid in advance through Expedia he gave us a bill for an extra $6 as since I'd made the booking there had been some sort... More

We had a wonderful night sleep here. The king size bed was amazing including the pillows. The room was huge and clean. We would totally stay here again. I could not hear the road construction or anyone next door. Thank you for a great night stay.

At first, we wondered if the hotel would be too removed from anything we'd like to see, but that turned out not to be true. There were many coffee shops, restaurants and attractions within walking distance! (10 to 20 minutes). For our stay in this hotel, we had two main requirements: we wanted a quiet room, and we wanted separate... More
