We were traveling with teenagers so the room with 2 queen beds was very small. But the courtyard was pretty and the patio was nice. The pool had comfy lounge chairs. The restaurant Gringos was amazing. Very authentic Mexican with homemade tortillas too die for. Breakfast was included and very good also

Wife & I stayed three days in early January while we were reviewing Tucson as a possible relocation site. Our booked room rate was $104 (plus obscene local tax) but once there we discovered we could upgrade to a casita for four dollars more. The property would be a nice vacation spot for snowbirds wanting a break from northern weather....

My friend and I stayed here four nights. Our room had a patio and view of nicely landscaped grounds. The room decor was tasteful Southwestern with lots of colorful tile. The bathroom was small and dated, not ventilated, but everything was clean and comfy. The hot tub was great and the breakfast more than adequate, although I wish they wouldn't...

Beautiful room, though on the small side and an older motel. Comfy bed. interesting walk-in tiled shower. Architecture and decor more like New Mexican adobe style. However, a big downside was the next morning when maintenance men with leaf blowers, or better said, dust-blowers, cleared the parking lot of debris onto the cars. And ours was fresh washed and waxed....

The rooms are a bit dated and the bathroom needed an overhaul. The ceiling in the bathroom was breaking down due to the moisture content and the shower is basically a handicap shower. The rooms are all climate controlled by a ptac unit( through the wall heat pump ) with a thermostat near the bathroom . Since there is no...

We stayed at La Posada for one night while passing through Tucson. It is nicer than the usual motel you'll find while traveling. The rooms are comfortable and clean, and the staff pleasant. it is on West Oracle Road, which is a commercial road - yet the feeling is not rushed or impersonal.

Just OK, depending on what you are looking for. On the plus side is the pool, which is nicely landscaped and situated so you would never know you were next to a busy street, and restaurant/bar, which has a terrific view and friendly and helpful staff; the rooms on the third floor have a sunrise view of the mountains. The...

The photos looked good and we did not have much choice booking late for the Presidents weekend so we rented a casita, Best part was the comfortable bed. Lighting was poor; no wine glasses in the kitchenette. I'm glad we did not stay in the front of the property as there is much traffic noise from Rt 77. Full breakfast...

A great spot for an escape from the every day. The hotel is located on a busy street, but rooms with balcony offer a beautiful scenic view, overlooking gardens, pool, and mountains (back side of the hotel)!! A+ for very friendly staff, average breakfast served in the attached restaurant (Gringo), delicious coffee and Danish. We were unable to use the...

Set in the foothills, desert, mountain majesty. Excellently trained personnel in every situation. Delightful architecture and decor with polish but not arrogance. Everywhere clean and inviting. Little nooks and crannies with unique views. Challenging Golf course/country club, convention center emphasizing art and light, fabulous windows highlighting their inviting play pool, competitive laps, and mineral soak.
