Had a fun two days at the Inn. Close to downtown historic district, college and parks. Friendly atmosphere, cozy rooms, peaceful gardens and delicious breakfast.

Sam Hughes Inn was a wonderful place to stay. The location was great, the room was comfortable, and the breakfasts were the best part. We met other guests from various parts of the country and enjoyed the delicious, hearty breakfasts. Our hostess was very welcoming and helpful!

I stayed at the B&B for 8 straight days and really enjoyed it. Susan is very helpful and Lucy is a sweetheart. Breakfasts were great. The prices are reasonable. If I return to Tucson, I will stay at the Sam Hughes Inn again!

Wonderful little B&B when staying in Tucson. Centrally located, a brisk walk to the University of Arizona, and nestled in a lovely historic neighborhood. Breakfast is delicious and a way better experience than staying in any of the surrounding chain hotels.

My husband and I stayed at the Inn for four nights. Although I assumed the inn would be nice from looking at the website, it was even better than I had expected. What a wonderful B&B! Our room was beautifully appointed and the very large bathroom had all the amenities that you would expect at a top ranked hotel. The...

Sam Hughes Inn is an oasis of loveliness in the downtown area of Tucson. The owner, Susan, greeted us warmly and welcomed us in to her home and Inn. Followed very shortly by darling Lucy, a miniature poodle mix. We were shown in to the lovely courtyard garden and given the keys to an extremely comfortable room. The room was...

My visit to the Sam Hughes Inn Upon arrival I was greeted warmly by Susan and her furry friend Lucy. After a brief tour I was shown to my room. Since I didn't plan on spending much time in it ,I selected the smallest room, the Pima. The room was very clean, comfortable and cozy. The inn was so quiet,...

I spent a wonderful six evenings at the Sam Hughes. Susan Banner, the owner, was gracious, friendly and full of good information. The Inn itself suited me perfectly. I chose the single room, which was completely comfortable. I can't remember when I've slept so well. What I enjoy so much about an inn is breakfast and the Sam Hughes was...

Sam Hughes Inn is the most wonderful place - near the University, and with easy access to shopping and museums; truly home away from home. Susan Banner is a marvelous host, and her breakfasts were sublime. We had wonderful discussions around the table; breakfast was more like a great dinner party. The rooms are comfortable and clean; we slept as...
