The lobby furniture and area rugs need a serious deep cleaning. All of the furniture was visibly dirty. Be sure to check the air vents in your guestroom bathroom. The room I just stayed in the bathroom air vents were atrocious. This was not a pleasant stay at all and I am seriously disappointed with the Hilton brand. In addition,...

it was a quiet hotel, but only 2 elevators and 1 was always broken. So it took a long time to wait for the only one elevator for the entire hotel. My room was big and clean. Only one bartender working during the night so the service was very slow. Breakfast buffet was expensive and there was nothing amazing.

The Double Tree at Reid Park is very clean and we'll maintained. The rooms were comfortable. Female bartender in the lobby bar had zero personality and was borderline rude. Overall it was a great stay.

The hotel was old and had a bad smell in the room. Frig was not cold and also had a vile smell. The beds are uncomfortable. Don't waist your money on the hotel you would be better off spending a little more and staying in a cleaner hotel. The staff are not what you would expect at a hotel.
