Found this gem on Jet Setter when I was looking for a place for our anniversary. We could not have been more pleased. From the moment we arrived service was excellent, friendly and efficient. Gave excellent recommendations for things to do and places to eat. Our room was beautiful and large. Bathroom was laid out with two sinks with a...

Recently renovated section is awesome. Close to new pool and hot tub views of the Catalina's. Wonderful restaurant with live music in evening. New rooms had all amenities. Open shower, balcony, spacious and comfortable beds. Enjoyable grounds to walk around and full of history.

We enjoyed the hotel, as it was very relaxing. The 2nd floor Catalina rooms have a nice view of the mountains. Other than the pools, there is not that much to do on the property. Everyone was very nice, and the hotel is well cared for. Nice historical hotel. We had a couple of problems- service related, that I feel...

We ate Sunday brunch here on our 56th wedding anniversary. The staff was excellent and our waiter kept our champagne glasses filled. A chocolate decorated plate was brought to our table at the end of the meal. The buffet tables were replenished frequently.

The entire resort is absolutely gorgeous, with every detail taken care of. The desert gardens are emaculate, the buildings in perfect shape, and the service is faultless. We stayed in a room for just 190, but I know there are rooms at every price point up from there. Two pools, two jacuzzis. We were very pleased.

Once a girls school, Hacienda del Sol now has fabulous dining, beautiful grounds, friendly, attentive staff and an unbeatable wine menu! We just had dinner for four on the terrace -- not the main dining room -- and thoroughly enjoyed it. Nice setting, good food, beautiful environment. The piano player was talented and played all the right music, but would...

We have been coming here for years but this was our first time back since the new construction has been completed. This time we stayed for 5 days in a King Catalina Room with a balcony overlooking the golf course and mountains which was quiet and perfect in every way as far as the layout, spaciousness, and decor. Stunning mountain...

This is a beautiful southwestern decor resort. The staff was very helpful and the food at the restaurants is excellent. We arrived at the hotel for a special event and the hotel did not disappoint. The happy hour is very nice, overlooking the mountains on the well decorated patio. The happy hour drinks were reasonably priced and the happy hour...

LOVE this place. Authentic Southwestern style, all needs met by the most accommodating staff, charming rooms and gardens, beautiful pools, fantastic restaurant/bar, a perfect spa experience. And it has so much history, my stay only got better after a visit about the hacienda's past with one of the managers. If I'm ever back in Tucson I'll definitely chose this home...
