I wouldn’t even have booked this place except for a points promotion by Rocketmiles in relation to one of my points cards. I’m very glad I did. It was a very nice ‘boutique’ hotel that was overloaded with the atmosphere of the Southwest. From the exceptionally friendly & informative check-in with Alex until the time I left, it was pretty...

The room has always been very nice with enough space, romantic fireplace and spacious bathroom. Front desk staff is always very professional. Don't even waste your time with the "free" breakfast though. If you can't serve decent food then don't. It won't encourage you to try their dinner menu. The head person in charge of the kitchen literally argued with...

Our stay at the Lodge on the Desert was very enjoyable. The staff was friendly, the food was good, the room was lovely. The breakfast was especially enjoyable! Our only negative comment is the price of the wine at the onsite restaurant. It's 3 to 4 times higher than other restaurants. They charge $16 a glass for Line 39 cab,...

No working wi-fi, no working safe box, no coffee cups in the room, and when I reported these issues the front desk attendant said "strange, Wi-Fi was working all the time" like I was lying or didn't know how to access it, instead of getting details to correct it or at least an apology.

Hi there and thank you for your review. We want to apologize for the issues you experienced during your stay. There definitely should have been coffee cups in your room. I've spoken with the general manager about the staff interaction and he will be following up with the front desk staff. Thank you for your feedback; it is with your...

We stayed at this hotel just one night in December 2016. This was just a stopover after driving quite a distance the day before and one day before we met our friends in Saddlebrook. We had been on the road for almost a month by that time. This hotel had some amenities that other hotels we stayed in didn't have....

Husband and I stayed for a couple nights during our visit to the gem show. Check in was easy and fast. Grounds were charming. Nice pool and jacuzzi. King room was super spacious (even had 2 sinks in the bathroom), was very clean and the bed was comfy. Location was good, and as the room faced away from the street,...

My first impression of this place, as I pulled in, was to make me think of the 30's and 40's and glamor. No, it does not look old... (although it's been here a very long time, I understand) just glamorous. And the room? Large, comfortable, posh. I really like this place. Staff is very friendly.... it's very quiet here, AND...

Stayed for 8 nights. Had one of the more basic rooms but it was large, v Clean, very accessible to pool, lobby, parking. Most rooms are on ground level. Beautiful grounds with lots of cactus. It was a cold week so we appreciated the good heater in the room and used the heated pool and hot tub daily. Breakfast was...

Weekend get away or out of state visitor, you will be completely relax in this uniquely southwestern destination. Great heated pool and spa, immaculate rooms and even some fire places in selected rooms. The restaurant is OK but not the main attraction. The groinds attract hummingbirds, butterflies and several species of other birds. Excellent staff and service.
