My family and I visited Tucson while touring the University of Arizona. We had a great visit, our room was large, clean and quiet. We enjoyed the restaurant at the lodge, the food was delicious and the prices were great. We also enjoyed happy hour...More
The room has a special touch with the fireplace. Lots of space to spread out. I only wish I could have stayed longer. Easy to get to shopping and Fourth Street shops. The entire place has that southwestern charm that you seek when visiting Tucson.
The beds are comfortable and the towels are nice, now for the rest of the story. We have a first floor room and it appears there is not a good seal on the door...this is the first room we've had in two weeks with bugs....More
I will never stay at another hotel in Tucson again. This boutique hotel is historic with modern amenities. The gardens that make up the grounds are awe worthy transforming every walk to our room feel as if we were in an enchanted desert garden. We...More

It is 6.1 miles from I-10 or 18 minutes ( numerous lights), but although you are arriving at 10 p.m. I would consider it worth it not only because we enjoyed our stay, but the other hotels were sketchy in that area. Getting outside the U of A area then the hotels get pricey. Also there is a Claim Jumpers restaurant not far from the hotel which was nice for dinner...if you are staying in Tucson and not just passing through the area.
Trail dust town is 5 miles from the hotel and a 10 - 15 minute drive. Our front desk staff can help with direction.
We look forward to seeing you at the Lodge!
