My husband and I had yet another wonderful stay at Two Ponyz Ranch. My husband drove out two weeks before me to do astro-imaging. There is a cement pad for his telescope close to the casita and he spent many wonderful nights photographing deep sky objects. I joined him for 4 nights and it is always so good to get...

Two Ponyz was a perfect getaway for the two of us. We enjoyed beautiful sunsets, candlelight dinners, and watching a movie by the fire. The view from the patio is of majestic mountains and adorable horses. We couldn't have asked for a better break from our busy noisy lives!

Karen is a fabulous host and takes care of all of the details. Her casita is very private, and it is a true gem in a truly beautiful area. The area offers lots to do and Mountainair is a nice little town. The casita is nearby the world-class Salinas Pueblo Missions National Monument run by the National Park Service. I...

French author Jules Renard once said "On Earth there is no heaven, but there are pieces of it.". We found one of those pieces at Two Ponyz! My wife and I spent three nights there while house hunting in the area. So it was more of a business trip vs. pleasure, but oh what a pleasurable experience. The design and...

My wife and I travel to New Mexico and stay at 2ponyz several times a year. Karen is great and we always look forward to seeing her and our stay at the casita. The property is exquisitely located in the historic Abo Canyon at the south end of the Manzano Mountains and is incredibly peaceful. The view from the property...

How long has it been since you’ve seen the Milky Way arching overhead in the night sky, the thrill of a meteor streaking across the sky, or appreciated the blue, red and yellow colors of the stars? Whether you’re a casual observer of the night sky or an enthusiastic amateur astronomer, as I am, Two Ponyz Ranch is a perfect...

Karen was a wonderful host and facilitated an amazing getaway for us and our dog, Winston. The ranch is beautiful and perfectly situated to provide gorgeous scenery and myriad hiking trails. We loved taking long hikes during the day to see the ruins and look out over the land. Karen was very helpful in giving us a thorough review of...

I was lucky enough to spend my Birthday week at TwoPonyz, back in April. This property is exquisite, luxury out on a ranch. Eco conscious, green, solar, back to nature, except the Casita is easily one of the most upscale places I've ever stayed. Plus you get birds chirping, gorgeous sunsets, views to die for, right out either your front...

My recent visit to 2 Ponyz Ranch was indeed "wilderness luxury" and a welcome respite from our recent harsh winter. My husband and I found the New Mexico property breath taking. Each time we stepped out onto the patio, we were treated to gorgeous views of the nearby Manzano Mountains and a chorus of birdsong. The private and beautiful casita...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Two Ponyz Ranch. The casita is very well-equipped and beautifully designed and decorated. Great selection of books. We loved the private setting, watching the horses, and the ability to hike right from the casita. We spent the first afternoon exploring some of the two-track roads/trails in the adjoining Cibola National Forest. The next...

“only one room, so no tip there. Great TV Satellite service. No mobile phone service for us on Verizon but the Casita is equipped with a phone. Broadband internet wifi in Casita, though for us on Ipad only worked in the mornings well, nighttime I think it was overused in the area and made it slow. No big deal for us, we wanted away from technology for a bit.”
