We stayed at this motel to visit Salinas Pueblo Missions. The location was perfect for visiting the park locations. The motel is near the highway, so there was some traffic noise. I didn't hear any noise later at night. The room was not that large, but there was a large middle room. The bathroom had a shower and looked recently...

The manager/owner, Melita, made us feel right at home in this very nicely maintained older motel. The updated and beautifully done tiled bathrooms and showers were much nicer than the chain motels out on the highway. It was also very quiet.

We stopped in Mountainair on our way to see the Salinas Pueblo Missions at the Rock Motel. The owners live there, so except for checking in we did not see them again-- of course this was off-season. The motel was clean and it is obvious that the owners are updating very tastefully. There is NO cell signal but they do...

On a recent hunting trip with my husband he informed me we would be staying a small local motel. Being the hotel snob I am shear panic began to set in! He said, just think of it as "camp", which didn't make it any better! I must say I was completely surprised. Malita the innkeeper was a pleasure. Rooms were...

Great prices for large rooms at this motel. Clean and comfortable. Nice covered seating area outside with nesting tiny birds in the roof supports (swifts). Large rabbits and hares seen in the area around. A great value overnight stop in this lovely little town

Terrible staff. Rude. Confrontational. Don't stay here. Visitor unfriendly. Pet unfriendly. Poor service skills. Trashy attitude. Get new staff or close. Have been here twice. Not coming again. Mountainair would be just fine if they dozed this place under and built a strip mall.

Stayed here with my family. Nice size 2 adjacent rooms with mini fridge, microwave and coffee pot, but not a B&B as advertise. Locals stay here. Thought we were staying in the room with no one next door until the loud banging of the neighbors door and talking early in the morning, yet no cars out front but ours. Did...

Stayed at this motel during our trip to the Salinas Pueblo Missions. It was pretty much the only motel in Mountainair, The place from the outside does not look like much, but do not let that deceive you. The rooms are nice and clean and the bathrooms have been nicely remodeled . The lady at the front desk was very...

We stayed at the motel since we had a busy weekend in town. We needed some quiet time in between the family reunion and a graduation party. We have plenty of relatives to stay with but decided to get a room. We were so pleased with the hospitality. Melita was so helpful in making our reservation and checking us in...

Nice rooms, recently renovated. Satellite TV, three available wifi networks with strong signal. Gravel parking lot leaves much to be desired. Friendly owners, when we call the front desk to ask about an ice machine we were told there wasn't one but the would bring us a bag of ice.
