Was told there was a shuttle for our 6am flight when I booked but then told to buy an Uber when we checked in. Not convenient at all and added to our expenses. Could have stayed elsewhere for the same cost and received the services we needed. Breakfast was also depleted by 8am.

We stayed 8 nights.The first night was awful due to rude spring breakers. Meli at the front desk move us to an isolated King suite & the remaining 7 days were perfect. Comfortable bed & pillows, very quiet, plenty of hot water & ice, good breakfast , friendly & helpful staff ... it couldn't be better.

The room is clean and comfortable. The bathroom is well used and could use some updating. Beds and pillows were comfortable They provide transportation to/from the airport which is great! Breakfast was plentiful and delicious!

3 of 5. Needed a room for one night prior to catching a super early flight. Pros: check in was super easy and the staff were helpful and friendly. The hotel is also super close to the airport. Cons: hotel is run down and kinda dirty. Grounds are dirty with several cats hanging around. Rooms are ok but show lots of wear and tear. Most concerning was that when we left at 2:50 am we went out a side door close to where we parked and that door was propped open with a rock. This hotel isn’t in the best part of town and leaving a side door propped open is a huge safety issue. Would probably not stay here again but other than the safety issue noted the hotel was fine for what I needed it for.

This has to be the worst place to stay in. Starting out with the curb appeal and ending up in the dirtiest smoke smelling room ever. Let me start by telling you that I booked my room at around 6:15A.M. Coming from Houston, Being that I am a musician, I decided to do something crazy and drive to San Antonio after my gig. There was no traffic and decided to take my wife to go walk around the River Walk. I got really sleepy and rather than us staying in a parking lot in the car, I decided to get a room even though I knew it would be more due to the early check in. The mistake first was that Reservation Stays, did not disclose to me that early check ins where subject to the hotel having something readily available. I didn't ask my self because they said that when I get to the hotel, ask for Hillary and that she had confirmed that it would be available at 8A.M. I received the confirmation and proceeded to the Hotel at around 7:50A.M. to ask and see if my room would be ready at this time. The place looked really bad because I was greeted at the entry with 3 or 4 cats roaming around and cat poop all at the entry by the bushes. Horrible curb appeal but it didn't matter. I just needed a place to crash for a few hours until maybe mid day so that my wife and I could go walk around the river walk and eat lunch. The customer service in this place was horrible from the start. There was a lady with tatoos at the font that didn't even greet me or say how may I help you, she waiting for me to say, Hello I am here to check on my reservation. She acted as if she was offended that I was there. I think her name is Meli. I really don't know because with my frustration already of the way she was asking questions to me, I didn't get her name. I had to get it from the other front desk clerk who also was very hesitant in giving me the name of the person who attended me. I got this when I was leaving. I explained to the clerk that we were there because I had reserved on line and the person said they had spoken with a Hillary and said she would have a room for me at 8A.M. She was very rude in telling me, "that doesn't mean anything." this is subject to change upon availability. First of all, I would not be there if I was told there was no available rooms at that time. I told them that I was tired and was told there would be something. She then said well if you want to cancel, I don't have a problem canceling you right now and find something else. I was shocked at the treatment for no reason. I never spoke rude to this person and felt as if I was offending her by being there. She then said, I can give you a room but it will cost you and additional $29.55 to check in . I was very frustrated at this point and yet. I was still talking to the clerk in a nice way while she had a look of frustration in her face. I said "let me see if I can cancel my reservation" Not knowing the she was canceling me with out me even speaking with the agency I booked with. After speaking with the agency, I couldn't cancel because they were asking me for a written statement from the hotel to give to me saying they had no issues canceling and that I had to send them that to get a refund. I spoke with my wife and we were just fed up with the ordeal that we said ok lets just pay the additional $29.55 and get some rest. I walked back to the front desk and the lady had stepped away so I spoke with the other clerk, she said she could not help because I was already cancelled and had to do a whole new reservation in order for me to stay. I was now really aggravated. I asked to speak with the original clerk and she showed up and said ok, she will do it. She gave me the keys and put us in any room. I get to the room and it stank of cigarettes' smoke. At this point I didn't care. We just went to bed as were were really tired from the trip. When we woke up we started walking around the room and tried to sit on the Sofa bed but it was really nasty. It had some type of splatter on it. Was really dirty. Went to the wet bar to get some water and the sink looked dirty and had mildew. The wall on the wet bar looked like it had a syrup splatter on it and fresh. The counter had marker stains. When I went to take a shower, the shower curtain was filthy and had mold or dirt on the top. My wife and I were so upset that we took a shower, got ready and left the room. I turned in the keys the same day and didn't care to ask for a refund since I knew how rude the staff is. Overall it was the worst San Antonio experience ever and will choose my stays a lot closer next time.

We checked in very late...about 4:30a due to a delayed flight. The first room had a baby roach and we asked to be moved to another room. We had no issues after that. The hotel is clean but rooms are dated and time for some upgrades. There is shuttle service from the airport but cuts off at a certain time. Breakfast is served in the morning up to 9a. It's not a 5 star hotel but I would stay there again. The night auditor and the staff were friendly. Close to Pappadeaux and walking distance to a mini shopping strip & another restaurant (54th Street)...good food & margaritas. If you go to the River Walk or need a ride to the airport, ...don't use a taxi...try Lyft...much cheaper. We didn't rent a car but Lyft was perfect.

I’ve choose this hotel because it was close to the airport and it had a free shuttle. When I call the hotel, they say the service ended an hour before my arrival, so I end up paying an Uber. The front desk lady told me a new owner is trying to make improvements so here is my feedback and suggestions: 1) the lobby looks great and it was a very good first impression 2) as soon you walk in the room it looks good too but the bathroom took half of my excitement away. The bath tub was all cracked and with really bad stains. It shocked me! I was exhausted from being in the airport all day so I need to shower but I was disgusted. The handle of hot/cold water was loose and hanging out of the handle. The shower curtain was white so you could see all the stains from inside once you start showering. 3) when I open the mini fridge it wasnot working but also it had some leftovers food inside of it and God knows how long it has been in there. Also a big shock. The beds were comfortable but the pillow cases also has stains all over and I could smell the bleach. 4) I wake up and went to lobby for breakfast to find out it ended at 9am. 😩😩 5) shuttle guy told me in the am that I was lucky to catch a ride because they don’t have a driver and the maintenance guys are doing the job, and they are definitely not in the airport every half hour as advertised. Over all, it was a comfortable night sleep for one night and one night only. I’d not come back to stay more than that.

Breakfast was good. Lobby is good. Did not clean room each night (once in six nights). Nothing seemed to work properly - TV, Phone, alarm clock, heater, etc. If you want clean towels, you have to request them. stains on shelves in bathroom and rust in tub.

Roll out of bed went down to have breakfast, apparently my parents did not fit the breakfast police criteria questioned if I had a room what room number it was what the room name was on when I offered to give my room key that came up with an excuse on how that wouldn't work. Talking about being humiliated in front of a group of tourists from Alabama. I'm a veteran of the United States army which doesn't matter nobody should be profiled and humiliated like that
