The historic Crockett hotel is a unique, historic hotel in the heart of San Antonio. Operating next door to the iconic ALAMO MISSION since 1909, the Crockett provides hotel services in the true Texas tradition - friendly, welcoming, clean, comfortable and convenient. Crockett's Tavern will open May 2022 and feature Alamo themed dishes and locally loved classics for lunch and dinner. The Crockett Hotel is a gem of a hotel near both the River Walk and the Alamo. It's prices are a steal compared to other hotels in the vicinity. The ambiance is wonderful. Room was nicely laid out with plenty of outlets and USB charging ports. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Water pressure in the bathroom was the best I have ever experienced in a hotel. The Keurig coffee machine in the room along with complimentary k-cups available at the front desk were appreciated. Food options in the hotel were limited but there are an abundance of restaurants a short distance from the hotel at all price points. Everything from McDonalds and Whataburger to Morton's and Ruth Chris. A minor negative was the lack of daily housekeeping services, but any towels, k-cups, or other toiletries are easily available from the front desk. Overall, I would highly recommend the Crockett. Will stay there again my next time I have business in San Antonio.…

Other than accidentally not booking directly through the hotel, our stay was good! Can’t beat the location, we are familiar with the area. Shameeka was very helpful during check-in and Gabriel was pleasant when we checked out. Patricia, the manager, was accommodating when I explained our issue, and she gave us complimentary drink tickets! The restaurant service (Hannah D) and food were good . We usually stay at The Menger, but d/t circumstances, were unable to, so were introduced to the Crockett, and were very satisfied!

Love this older hotel. It's in the perfect spot and close to everything. Nice, Clean, and Safe. Staff are friendly and cost is good. We've stayed here many times and always enjoyed it. I'd recommend it to anyone.

Good visit…was sad that Ernie’s bar was turned into a western themed saloon…the place looks too touristy now …the margarita at the bar was devoid of any flavor and could have easily been mistaken for crystal lite…the sex on the beach drink was watered down and very unsexy…I guess the new historical themed bar/tavern took away from the drinks…the service provided by the valet was superb-worth the 37 dollars(which was not an option). The rooms were clean and quiet enough for a restful night…overall would recommend this hotel.

Literally is right beside the Alamo, and a few blocks from the Riverwalk. A perfect stop for our one-night stay. The hotel is very well kept and very unique. The only downside was Valet parking only (local parking was by the hour and very expensive). Our Canadian dollar didn't fare to well when, with tip the parking was $50 US, and adds up to $70 Canadian. Probably was cheaper if we ventured away from the hotel but we had bikes on the back and wanted them to still be there in the morning. Other than that, I highly recommend.

I believe much of your disappointment centered around the parking options and the costs. Please know that all full service downtown San Antonio hotels charge for parking, as do most downtown hotels in other Texas cities. Our valet parking fees are among the lowest in the city. The parking fees are noted on our website and on our confirmations. We would welcome the opportunity to win back your confidence and I am happy to visit with you personally. The hotel is clean and it is very centrally located. It is a bit overpriced. It is a old hotel that has been updated but some things you can not change (e.g the bathroom). Personnel were friendly, there was some construction going on that made it nosy but that is only temporary. Restaurant was reasonable.

The staff is very accommodating and kind. Close enough to walk to the River Walk and right next to Alamo Plaza . Historic hotel with a cool vibe. Quite and clean. Also, remember to visit the Crockett Tavern, as it has good food and great drinks. We are hoping to return!

Great Hospitality from the moment we first called to make reservations! The front desk gave us detailed directions to find the hotel from the Interstate. The valets,especially April, were extremely helpful and careful with our cars (we had two). We will stay at the Crockett again!

This hotel was really nice place to stay. Enjoyed the food and closeness to the Alamo as well as the river walk. The staff was helpful and was able to point us in different directions for fun family attractions that we hadn’t thought about before.
