Another location that has taken out carpet and put in flooring which I really prefer. Pillows were just right for us. We got there early and were able to check in but got rooms on a lower floor but still had nice full river view. The room was large but I wish there had been just a foot more space in the bathroom. There was a nice large counter and storage but we had to take turns which is minor. Something I consider a flaw is that the fan control doesn't allow it to be set to always on. This allows more noise for those of us who are light sleepers. Breakfast is optional charge which we decided worked for us. The bacon was perfectly cooked and there was a small selection of pastries more than the usual HIE breakfast. There was always nicely scrambled eggs so we did not need the cooked to order option. The breakfast & bar area are multi-level over looking a quiet section of the river and it is quite nice. There is wait staff in the morning since the cost is separate. The location is great. We walked to the Alamo, Briscoe museum, San Fernando Cathedral, and the courthouse. We were right at one of the river boat access points and the HoHo stop. Tons of restaurants within walking distance. There is a charge for parking but we were aware when we book. …

We stayed own two separate occasions the third week of January 2023 for my wife's birthday trip, and the experience was the same both stays. Very clean rooms, super friendly staff, the location was right on the Riverwalk, so you couldn't get much closer. It's a leisurely 10-15 minute walk to the Alamo along the Riverwalk, with lots of dining and shopping within walking distance. The property has on-site parking in a directly attached parking garage, with a daily parking rate of $23 - but the plus is that there are no in/out restrictions like some of the other hotels in the area. We would not hesitate to stay at this property in the future.

In a quick synopsis Ive been to San Antonio the last few years for my birthday. As a Platinum Elite member I spend one nite at the wonderful Holiday Inn Riverwalk before going to another hotel. So I got to the hotel and asked Steven at front desk if I could get an upgrade as I like a balcony for fresh air. He gave me an awesome one bedroom corner suite with nice balcony on the 21st floor. Was totally AWESOME! Kudos to Steven for making my annual birthday trip even more enjoyable. As I checked out today he was arriving to work & brought his adorable 3 month old son in with his wife for everyone to see. What a beautiful baby boy. Thanks so much Steven and will see you guys again soon. Cheers Dave

Isac at the Valet is the best... he had to go back twice to our truck to get our sunglasses and never even batted an eye when we told him the first ones were the wrong pair! We come monthly and always have to best experience.

Didn't expect no less or no more, as this hotel was exactly what it said on the tin. Was in a great location for the Riverwalk & within minutes of numerous great restaurants along the river. Would return tomorrow again if required.

Hello. OMG Best Location EVER. All the staff were so friendly, but SNOW absolutely stood out. She is such a credit to your company. MY FIRST TIME visiting Texas. I had so many questions and SNOW was absolutely and angel. She was genuinely PLEASED to be able to help me out. I had a reservation for 3 days. However, due to flight delays we missed our connection and was not able to arrive to San Antonio for day 1. I called the hotel to let them know about what happened and they said it was fine and they will update our reservation. During our stay the a/c did not work, instead of moving us to a new room they kept sending engineering to “fix it”. I went to the lobby to speak to someone and the lady at the desk told me that the only option was to keep sending engineering, unfortunately they get off at 11pm and after that we’ll just have to deal with the hotness until the morning. Engineering went one more time to “fix” our a/c and he then told us that nothing could be done and we needed to be moved to a different room. He went down to the lobby and got us new room keys. That new room was still hot but slightly better, we had a fan that helped us through the rest of our stay. During check out I noticed a “no-show” charge, I went to the lobby but their response was “it’s a charge so we wouldn’t have to cancel your reservation”. This makes no sense. DO NOT STAY HERE!!…
