I very much enjoyed this Bed and Breakfast. This is one of the only times I will say don't believe everything you read. Greg checked us in about 5:00PM. He gave us a little tour and showed us our rooms. They are very specific on check-in time. It's from 4-6. It's on the email you get, it's on the welcome...

We made our reservation within the 14 day cancellation policy. Strong storm predicted after our reservation made. Had to cancel this stay and others. Greg smugly repeated his policy to me offering no apologies, credit option, or partial refund. All other reserved stays for this trip gladly offered total refunds. I understand the policy, but it is Greg's snooty attitude...

This B&B offers basic, comfortable, very clean accommodations. It's certainly not upscale or high end, We stayed in the "deluxe" King suite for $300 per night. It's roomy, but dated. No high end bed linens or bath towels. Family size containers of Suave shampoo and body wash in the shower. Polyester bath robes are hanging in the closet, but come...

Very nice comfortable and clean bed-and-breakfast. Owners were delightful and helpful about the attractions on San Juan Island. Very nice location and within walking distance of downtown Friday Harbor. Highly recommend this B&B

I agree with most of the previous reviews. Fortunately, we had a room on the second floor so the smells weren't an issue. I also struggled with my luggage up 8-9 stairs bit I could manage. No help was offered. Breakfast was good and plentiful. Fresh fruit was advertised but it was canned peaches or pineapples. Certainly not fresh and...

Do not stay here, the rooms downstairs smell musty, the inn keeper named Greg from the second we arrived made us feel extremely uncomfortable and through our stay was actually rude and made us fee unsafe due to getting ANGRY at us for spilling coffee. We were supposed to stay 2 nights and had to leave after the first night...

We very much enjoyed our three day stay at the Hillside House. It is beautifully maintained and very clean. Breakfast was delicious and plentiful, something different each day. Gregg is the chef and runs the Inn like a ship. Naoni is a lovely hostess with lots of ideas and information regarding the Island. Gregg and Naoni are a good balance...

Stayed in the Captain's room (2nd floor) for one night with my son prior to a kayaking trip. Our hosts were great, available for questions, welcoming. (Yes, Greg is kind of gruff, but there's a sweet-spot there for sure. Naomi is a lovely, lovely hostess.) Breakfast was tasty and plentiful and snacks available all day. Big deck and patios for...

We spent two nights at this B&B. It appeared very clean, but both of the lower level bedrooms had a very bad smell and the carpet felt wet on bare feet. The breakfast was good, but nothing spectacular.. Naomi was very pleasant and helpful, Greg was a little more harsh. Our biggest issue was accessibility..we specifically told them we had...

Ask when we called if there were stairs and was told "a couple " well there were 8 or 9 just to front door, then we step in and much to our surprise it's a spit level! Our room was down about 6 stairs , then to get to upstairs for breakfast another 6-8 stairs. They need to advertise NOT...
