Charming place with extraordinary history-- absolutely lovely and quiet, but steps away from downtown Santa Fe. The elegant and warm dining room was the perfect spot for a breakfast with many options.

Loved everything about our 3 nights at the Inn. Dan and Alex went out of their way to make sure that we had everything we needed. From the Santa Fe guidebook that arrived at our home by mail a few weeks before, to the excellent breakfasts, to the wine gathering at 5pm in the living room, to the great advice...

So much to comment on. The sheets are silky, the robes are comfy, and the fire place is ready to just light a match. Breakfast selection varies from cereals, yogurt, fruits, breads, to eggs severed how you prefer, French toast, frittatas, and never ending coffee. The grounds are beautifully mantained. Also it is a walkable distance to the plaza unless...

I really enjoyed my 3-day stay at Inn of the Turquoise Bear. The building itself is beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. The breakfasts were outstanding. I really enjoyed visiting with other guests at breakfasts. But the best time for me was the wine tasting in the late afternoons. Dan shared lots of fun information...

My wife and I most recently stayed here for the first time last month. This was one of the most relaxing and restful places that we have ever stayed. I have to qualify that with the fact that there is tremendous hiking in the surrounding area and the Turquoise Highway and lots of photography. The best was to return to...

We spent 7 days/6 nights and have never been treated better or felt more cared for. It is just the right distance from everything. Wonderful daily breakfast prepared by a 'Gift from God'. The right feel, the right ambiance. Try to be their for 'Pie Day', you won't regret it :)

Thanks so much for the kind review Jim. We enjoyed you and Marjorie being with us for a nice long visit. We think innkeeping is much more about caring for our guests than the muffins. So pleased you felt well cared for! As you referenced, Friday is Pie-day at the Bear where guests enjoy one of our fresh crafted pies....

We were traveling through Santa Fe and wanted to stay somewhere with character and this place fit the bill. They had treats, a water dish, food dish, and bed mat ready for our dog when we entered our room. Using the Innkeeper's recommendation, we walked to the Plaza for a wonderful supper. We left early but a delicious continental breakfast...

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The rambling, picturesque inn is located on a quiet street a short walk from the old town. We stayed in the DH Lawrence room which has a cozy reading nook surrounded with books. The high quality linens made for a very comfortable bed. Innkeepers Dan and Alex are great conversationalists and fantastic cooks.
