Stopped at this cute hotel on our big "Out West" trip in out RV. We needed a few days in a real room with working shower. From the minute we checked in, we were greeted with a smile, and the best welcome. Out room was one of two on the second floor. We had plenty of space to park our little Sprinter RV van in the parking lot. Our room was perfect for us, comfy bed, hot shower, and small kitchenette. Loved the western decor and for most of the trip had no problem leaving the door open to enjoy the great weather. We were able to walk across the street to an amazing local restaurant for excellent New Mexican fare. Love the esthetic of the retro motel, and great service. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Silver Saddle Motel in Santa Fe. The location was close to the plaza and also had easy access to the interstate. It was quiet and VERY clean. The rates were very good too. Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re in Santa Fe!
Fantastic Oasis in a world of overpriced hotels. Really cool motel w great staff/mgmt. If you're looking for a clean comfortable retro/groovy kinda spot, this is IT!!! Reminds me of a Route 66 kinda spot. Unbelievable great rates for Santa Fe...and this was during Renaissance Festival. Also had great recommendations for local authentic Mexican cuisine. I'll definitely be back!
The front desk staff was kind, other guests friendly, easy parking-- kitschy retro feel-- bring your own shampoo/soap etc if you are picky. Not walkable to plaza area. Good value for the price on my road trip to Scottsdale.
...but you don't stay at a historic Route 66 motel for the wifi! Other than that, no complaints. Nothing fancy, just the basics but with a little style and charm. Everything was just comfortable enough, just convenient enough of a location, etc. Good base for sightseeing. Table a little small but it was all the room we needed for some takeaway.
