Review summary 5 ★ 71% 4 ★ 10% 3 ★ 6% 2 ★ 3% 1 ★ 10% 4.3 Very good 30 reviews Reviews Search reviews People often mention Cindy Nasiadka 6 minutes ago on Google 1/5 I had previously visited the hotel and had a great experience about two years ago. So I had no issue booking this hotel again. This time the experience was nothing like the last stay. Check in time is at 4pm. We arrived around 1:30pm hoping to get our room early. No, the room was not available yet and had not been cleaned. We went back out and came back to the hotel at 3pm. Again the room was not cleaned and not available. While I was standing in the lobby several other guests were experiencing the same thing - no the rooms are not available until 4pm. Some people had been waiting in the lobby for several hours. There was an angry group at this point. The front desk woman was rude every time I asked if my room was ready. I was never treated like a guest who paid money, just a nuisance to her. At 4pm all the keys were handed out to a bunch of angry people. Since my room was located in the back building, we had to exit the hotel and re-enter the hotel at the back building. Of course, my new keys were not programmed for the back hotel. Back to the front desk I go to interact with the rude clerk. Second day I was there, the room key would not work at the back building. Apparently it was only programmed for one day. Back to the front desk again to be handled by another rude employee. While there I asked if I could purchase bottled water somewhere since there is none in the room. Nope, no bottle water in the building anywhere. This was a horrible experience mainly because of the staff. Rude and somewhere they were rooted on handing out the room keys at 4pm and not a minute earlier. Of course we could tell our room had been ready prior to 4pm because the maid cart was down at the end of the hall. Horrible hotel due to staff. Never going back

Location is great as well as a very friendly staff , however, I was disappointed in our room. It was spacious with a nice fireplace but the room was tired. Carpet torn and bathroom in need of repairs. Mold in shower and plaster falling off a piece of the bathroom wall. Absolutely no housekeeping service and we had to ask for fresh towels and tissue, as well as ask them to empty the trash cans. We were there for several days and expected this service for the price. Complimentary breakfast and happy hour were nice as well as their shuttle service. Overall, didn’t enjoy the room or experience. Restaurant was mediocre and also in need of updating, so we only ate there once.

We were on a road trip and hoping for a few nights in Santa Fe. We got them but there was no glamour. The room was a large two bedroom suite. And it was just tired. Old furniture. Scratched. Old bathrooms. Not impressive. Stayed one night and left

I booked the Hacienda at the Hotel Santa Fe because I wanted a small(ish), authentic hotel with an outdoor pool and close, but not in, the main part of town - not easy to find, but all was met with the Hacienda. It is definitely a step up from the main building, but worth the price with the added benefits: beautiful rooms with your own butler service, substantial tasty breakfast on the top deck and a relaxing happy hour. Those are all great and we loved them, but truly what makes this place a stand out is the staff. From check in, housekeeping, pool staff, to any staff member we passed in the hallways, everyone is friendly. We had the absolute best waitstaff woman each morning at breakfast - she was so cheerful, professional and helpful - I like a banana each morning, and one day the whole hotel was out of them - the next day she brought me a whole bunch! On the second day we were there, I was feeling quite woozy (heat + altitude) and a gentleman at the front desk brought me water and checked up on me over an hour, and suggested I purchase chlorophyll to add to my water for the rest of the trip to help - worked a charm. The rooms are tastefully designed, though not huge, but with plenty of towels and nice amenities. If we needed anything, we could call the butler and it arrived quickly. We really enjoyed the pool, though it could get busy and there weren't always enough loungers. It did have plenty of towels and nice cold water available. I really enjoyed the gym with modern machines and free weights. Another bonus is the free shuttle into and back from town. Great not to have to drive in and try and find parking. Super easy and convenient, and again - friendly staff. Overall, a lovely hotel made even better by great staff.

Santa Fe itself is an amazing city, and The Hacienda fits to the city's art filled heritance smoothly. Town of Santa Fe has a strong Native American influence and history, tHE hacienda respects and showcase this rich background through its sophisticated and very cozy decoration, very professional and friendly service. Hotel is walking distance to many attractions and their Club level is definitely way to stay there. Afternoon drinks and snacks by the fire place is amazing. I am sure the city is amazing every season but we were there in winter and it just goes with the whole city's unique architecture. The hotel has been built based on that distinctive architecture which makes it even more desirable.
