An excellent hotel near downtown Santa Fe. We liked the location, the beds, the cleanliness, the staff, and the price. Our room could just accommodate the four of us and our luggage. The heating, shower, and TV all worked well. Wifi was spotty, though, and it would be nice to offer breakfast burritos without cheese. But these are minor complaints about a very nice stay.

Tastefully decorated hotel, comfortable, friendly staff. Safe parking area. Convenient walking distance to restaurants and shops. Reasonable price and good value. Breakfast was nice, and included breakfast burritos. They are doing some renovations, and we were told that, when completed, the breakfast will be more impressive.

We had a queen room (#38) for 4 nights and it was clean and nicely appointed. All of the staff was friendly and helpful. The parking was fine, the breakfast good, with easy check-in and check-out. The hotel is well located, within walking distance to the town square. They are undergoing a major remodeling but it didn’t have any impact on the guests. The lows: small room, terrible lighting, and the bed was not real comfortable.

A friend and I recently stayed at Old Santa Fe Inn while visiting Santa Fe for my birthday weekend. Our room and experience was enjoyable until the first morning. We abruptly woke up at 8:30 AM to excruciatingly loud construction noises directly above our heads. It was so loud that we thought someone was going to fall through the ceiling. It was scary, at first, because we had no idea what the sound was before looking outside. Instead of taking the slow morning we had planned to take, we rushed to get ready and leave, changing our plans completely for the day. I stopped in the office before we went out for the day to communicate what had happened and ask for solution. The young lady in the office assured me that she would let someone in charge know when they came in at 3:00. She offered to upgrade us to a different room in order to avoid the noise the next morning, and I agreed that would be appropriate and appreciated. I left my number so that someone could contact us during the day and never received a call. We slept so poorly the 2nd night in fear that we would wake to more loud construction RIGHT ON TOP of our room. Thankfully that did not happen, but NO ONE communicated with us about what to expect. We are appalled that we were put in a room directly under planned construction, especially without warning. I am incredibly disappointed in the lack of customer service after making our complaint known. There was no followup communication at all. Santa Fe is a regular getaway spot for me and many of my friends and I will be sure to avoid Old Santa Fe Inn in the future. This was hands down the worst hotel experience I have ever had. I first sent this review to Old Santa Fe Inn's "Contact Us" tab, with no response. It had great reviews online, so I hope this was a stand alone experience.

We were looking for a place to stay that captures the feel and style of Santa Fe, close to the center of town, and at an affordable price. The Old Santa Fe Inn exceeded our expectations. Authentic architecture with tasteful decor throughout the complex that is clean and well mantained. Surprisingly comfortable beds, spotless bathroom, an excellent hearty breakfast, and very helpful staff. Amy and Kristen were a pleasure to meet. "Hospitality from a simpler time," is their slogan, and the Old Sante Fe Inn delivered on that promise. Highly recommended.

I loved everything about my stay! The experience started with the check in process. I was checked in by Kristin and she was so friendly and funny! Always great to start off an experience with a smile and a laugh. The king room was perfect and the fireplace was a bonus!!!. Every employee I came upon from the cleaning crew to the breakfast team was so nice and welcoming. The burrito bar breakfast, so fun! Lastly the location could not be better. So close to the cute shops and restaurants. I will definitely stay here every time I go to Santa Fe!

Old Santa Fe Inn was recommended by a family member and we were not disappointed. The location if perfect, within walking distance to town square, rail line and many restaurants/shops. Upgrade from standard 1 bed room to a 2 queen with fireplace worth it. The heated floor in the bathroom was also an unexpected surprise. Staff was wonderful, efficient and friendly. Only negative comment is that the comp breakfast was not the best as far as variety. Same each day; scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon/sausage, packaged oatmeal, no bread for toast. Heard they are remodeling common area starting March 2023 so there may be some construction going on. Would stay again in a heartbeat and have been recommending Old Santa Fe Inn to all my friends.

This is our go-to spot in Santa Fe when we pass through town. We love the rooms, the service, the breakfast (although I'm always torn because the hotel is so close to Cafe Pasqual's!), the historic Santa Fe style, and the central location, walking distance from the old town square. The heated bathroom floors and fireplaces are a wonderful touch. Good supportive mattresses, and pet friendly. All positive experiences!

We arrived with another couple at the Old Santa Fe Inn a few days before Christmas. We were looking forward to the Santa Fe Desert Chorale Concert, as well as looking to exploring the sites, galleries, and shopping. When we arrived at reception we struck up a conversation with the two friendly women who were working the front desk about what there was to do, where to eat., etc. You could tell both women enjoyed their jobs and were more than willing to answer our questions and help in any way. Our room was fabulous and included an adobe-type fireplace that made our room cozy, warm and festive. We put it on in the morning and again at night after returning from our day of activity. The bed was super comfortable. You could tell the hotel new what kind of bed would be the most comfortable for its guests. I loved the firmness of the bed, not too soft/hard, and the bed linens were fresh/crips. The shower in the bathroom was one of those walk-in showers that included a rain shower, which we always enjoy and appreciate. The hotel stay also included a hearty breakfast, including breakfast burritos, waffles, eggs, sausage, bacon, bagels, muffins, yogurt, a coffee/tea station, and more. I was trying to think of something negative, but I couldn't blame the hotel because the weather was colder than I would have liked. Really, we were simply elated with our choice of the Old Santa Fe Inn and will be back the next time we visit.
