After researching various places to stay in Santa Fe we spent four nights in suite 41 at the Old Santa Fe Inn. It was perfect in so many ways - the perfect walking distance to downtown - (only a few blocks away), the perfect breakfast every morning (sausage/bacon, waffles, eggs, potatoes, tortillas, cereal, muffins yogurt, fruit etc), the perfectly clean suite with kind and competent staff attending to our room, exceptionally courteous and helpful Amy and Patrick at the front desk, great and easy parking - ample for all of the guests and close to rooms. Suite 41 has two large rooms - a lovely living room with a gas fireplace, nice television, and bar area. The bedroom is ample. I have a lot of 'stuff' for toiletries etc. and while the vanity area was a little small - I set the ironing board up in the closet area right next to the vanity and used it to hold all of my vast products :). It worked great. I highly recommend this hotel. We would most certainly stay there again.

This is a terrific option. The hotel is quiet. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. The decor is lovely, and the breakfast buffet is excellent. Many of the rooms have working fireplaces. Best of all, it's walking distance to the Plaza, but far enough away to be more reasonably priced than properties ON the Plaza - and considerably quieter. The staff was responsive and always pleasant. My sister and I had a three-night stay and couldn't have enjoyed it more.
