I chose this hotel because it was cheap. I normally choose Motel 6 for that reason, as I am only "there" for a bed. This location is not a typical Motel 6 because it is all indoor. Typically M6 is an outdoor affair. When it is cold outside, indoor is much better than outdoor. Now, I must temper by letting... More

It's a very basic hotel - rooms are a decent size and clean. But there a no toiletries or any 'added extras'. Staff were friendly. Parking is easy. Easy to find (albeit there are three Motel 6 in Santa Fe so you need to know where you're going!). The big advantage here is the price - US$50 per night is... More

The room was nice and clean, towels were clean looked new. The only thing was when you go down the hall to the room's the carpet needed to replaced BAD it was ripped and the walls need to be repaired.

Came in to Santa Fe on a holiday weekend without any reservations. After a couple of stops at other hotels and being told they were full, we tried this one. The check in clerk did not have a good command of English which should have been my first clue. The lobby had construction issues which was my second. I walked... More

First of all, the website said a room with two beds would accommodate up to 4 adults, I put two person and the owner charged me extra for two more adults $190 for two nights was ridiculous. The hallway on the second floor was filthy, down the hall where we stayed there were two cops evicting someone. There was no... More

First off $161 dollars for two nights for this? Smoke smelled hallways, stained faded carpet, no elevator, no ice machines, old construction material everywhere, patched paint work, and on and on... That was just walking to my room. Walked into a room of stale smell, same carpet, same paint, old TV, safe on floor, molded shower, dead fly on the... More

I felt as if I was driving into a ....... surreal scene. Mattresses stacked up in the parking lot, an old clunker on jack stands, & some seedy looking guys eyeballing me as I parked my vehicle. The halls were littered with trash and apparent construction materials that should have been cleaned up as they went along. Typically when renovations... More

This was a big mistake! Room smelled of strong animal urine. Shady people smoking in the hallway. Broken glass in doors in entry way. Stains....everywhere!! No water pressure in the shower. What could very well have been prostitution. Do I need to go on? Oh, and when we were checking out police came to pick up surveillance video.

The first impression were the dirty, old rugs. Yuck! The rooms seemed sort of clean, but not clean and fresh enough. The safe didn't work either. We spent two nights there because we had booked online. Should have checked Trip Advisor first!!!! When we were leaving, early in the morning, we found dog feces right outside our door. The lobby... This Motel 6 is probably the safest Motel 6 in Santa Fe, possibly second safest to the one downtown. The other ones are horror stories waiting to happen. This one is close, but not that bad. The halls do smell heavily of smoke, since the smoking rooms are on the ground floor, and there's seemingly no air filtration system in... More
