We booked through booking.com on Dec 2, and this facility instantly charged the entire stay for Dec 28-Jan 2. We had to cancel Dec 22. We received notice that we’d receive a full refund (which was part of the booking to begin with). We didn’t get the refund. We called several times and got an answer ONE time and were assured a refund by that one desk agent who bothered to answer the phone. (Their phone rings off the wall. I also emailed and got zero responses.) We finally called Marriott corporate on Dec 29 and THEY called the facility general manager and stayed on the phone with us. The GM apologized and reassured us that we’d have the refund in 24 hrs. (Where had she been since Dec 22? Not answering the phone or emails, obviously!) We did not get the refund in 24 hrs and don’t have it yet! We emailed the GM, and she replied that she told us the day before it would be three business days, and with the holidays it would take almost a week! She absolutely did NOT say this in our conversation while Marriott corporate was on the phone with us . Don’t trust the GM or this facility. Just don’t do it.…
First, congratulations on 2021 Traveler's Choice Award! Well deserved! Very clean hotel and amazing attentive staff. Highly reccomend this hotel! If ever in Santa Fe again I will not hesitate to stay here!
This was a fantastic hotel! We were very impressed with the front desk staff, the room decor, and the cleanliness. We were happy to see the shampoo, conditioner, and body wash in the large containers in the shower, saving on 1000s of little bottles in our landfills. The staff was masked. Common areas were clean. We like that they offered gloves in the breakfast area, which we used. On top of all this, the price was excellent for Santa Fe!! We will definitely stay here again!!
This is an older property that has been updated with paint, and carpets so it feels fresher even if it has a crazy layout. The front desk people were pleasant and helpful. We were there through a low traffic week so with very few people checked in it was quiet. Overall the stay was adequate for our needs but nothing special.
I was in town in August, stayed at another Marriott property and had a horrible experience and this time I picked this property and am so glad I did. This property really is a lot better when it comes to service, upkeep, cleanliness etc. My friends and I stayed in two adjoining rooms and we all enjoyed the property and the free breakfast. Highly recommended!
