Several people suggested this hotel. The location is great! That's about it. Traditional king room is underwhelming. Bed was just ok. Only had a shower with 2/3 glass closure. Water was warm at best. Heard what sounded like a rowing machine all night and morning. Could hear people on the street. No dresser to store folded clothes. Cruise ship rooms...

The La Fonda is central to the action in Santa Fe. No car needed here. Not the fanciest Hotel in town but a really good spot to start out from. Most of the better restaurants are within walking distance. Good memories and taste of the culture.

Rooms are OK but not special, Restaurant with slow service and limited choices on the menu, hotel is perfectly located in the center of Santa Fe, hotel has a parking house attached which is very convenient, reception staff very friendly

Santa Fe is gorgeous. It is also very expensive. THE PLUSES: La Fonda is in a great location by the plaza, near to Canyon Road. We walked all over. It is a restored historic hotel. We were in an historic room- nicely done, very comfortable bed, great shower (missed a tub), decent size. Concierge was excellent. She advised us about...

Forty years ago we stayed at the La Fonda on our honeymoon and this year my husband chose to relive the experience. Upon check-in, unfortunately, we were not greeted very warmly by the gentleman who checked us in. We were, however, given a spotless and lovely room on the 5th floor with a great view. The hotel restaurant accommodated us...

With a location adjacent to the plaza and well appointed, comfortable (and recently renovated) rooms, La Fonda is a solid choice for a traveler looking for upscale accommodations in the heart of Santa Fe. I recently spent 3 nights here and was particularly impressed with the quality of our room. The deluxe king room was surprisingly large, filled with original...

I have almost never been so impressed by the service in a hotel. Arrived exhausted after midnight and was well taken care of. When Hertz's confirmed rental car failed to be "available," Concierge Pamela moved heaven and earth to find us one last minute on busy holiday weekend. Ben at the Enterprise desk gave 150%, and we were one of...
