Dirty nasty room rude manager bed was full of stains chicken bones from the guest before female hygiene products left over from the guest before called manager he didn't seem to care about the situation
Avoid this hotel at all costs! This was the worst hotel I have ever been to and cancelled my booking after only about 10 minutes on-site to seek lodging elsewhere. Elevator is broken, lights in the room didn’t work, thermostat was broken, fixtures were broken, door to the room did not close, mattress felt like it was made of bricks, no soap in bathroom (only hand sanitizer), smelled strongly of cigarettes and the place was generally filthy. Avoid this hotel.
This is a woefully outdated facility. This Hotel was the worst facility that my wife and I have stayed in for 20+ years. While the staff was very good and the price was reasonable, those factors can not overcome such an outdated facility. LaQuinta Inn is off our list of Hotels to consider in the future.
Poor customer service, overcharge fees, poor housekeeping, and safe to stay with family. Front desk employees were very uncaring, when checking in employees were in the back room made us feel that we were in irrupt Ing and that we were burden to them for checking in.
The hotel was fine, breakfast was good, and the two ladies at the front desk were great. Dalit was kind and friendly. While she was checking me in, Coco handled a difficult situation with another guest. She was professional but still personable throughout. Honestly, I’d stay there again just because of them.
Stayed the weekend for a wedding in the neighborhood, hotel grounds and amenities are excellent, enjoyed the simple buffet-style breakfast and the 24/7 coffee and fitness center were perfect as I liked to drink coffee throughout the day and work out in the evening. Front desk customer service was so-so, staff seemed to go through the motions but at least seemed competent. Mobile check-in was useless as we still needed to wait in line, present ID & CC, sign paperwork and wait for keys which took the same amount of time as people checking-in in person. Booked a 2-queen bed room and was assigned a room near the back parking lot, convenient if driving or getting dropped off. Some furniture and appliances are dated and bed was a bit stiff but overall the room was fine. If watching TV there is adult content in the evening on the Showtime channel so heads up if traveling with kids. Hotel is within 5-10mins walking distance to a nearby shopping plaza with a Walmart and Starbucks. Would stay again if in the area.…
This is/was hands-down the worst customer service experience I've ever witnessed. On Aug. 17, my wife booked a reservation to stay here on Aug. 19, as we were working in Thousand Oaks that day and the next. On booking.com (and several other online reservation systems) the reservation was priced at $19. My wife booked the reservation, then called the La Quinta main customer service number to confirm that the price was legit. We were assured it was. We then received an email from La Quinta confirming that the total price would be $21.28. Two days later when we arrived to the hotel, we were told by the girl at the front desk--who was absolutely WONDERFUL and very apologetic (didn't catch her name, but she had curly blonde hair)--that she was instructed by her managers NOT to honor the price we booked at because it was a "glitch" and we had to pay $211 if we wanted to stay. It was 11pm, we'd been working since 6am, and we had to work early the next day, so we felt we had no choice. Again, to be clear, the girl at the front desk was very kind, very apologetic, and it genuinely felt like there was nothing she could do. A few days later, we contacted booking.com and they informed us that they'd be reaching out to the La Quinta Thousand Oaks property in an effort to get a refund as it was advertised on multiple websites for $19/night. Quick note: California Business & Professions Code 17500 makes it very clear that issues like this fall under false advertising laws, which La Quinta was clearly in violation of. Today, we contacted booking.com again, and they let us know that they reached out to the property 8 DAYS AGO and have still not heard back. I called the property then and asked to speak to a supervisor. I was asked to hold for 3-5 minutes, which I did. After that, the manager, Taylor, came on the phone. I explained to him my issue. He told me, verbatim, "I advised all of my employees to tell you the new price, so we aren't at fault for anything." I told him this was against Code 17500 and that, at this point, if I didn't receive a refund for their deception, I will have my attorney work on a class action lawsuit. He began to raise his voice and told me to read Code 17500 to him. So, I did. Every word. He then asked me again over and over if an employee informed me of the "new price". I told him I had already answered that question at the beginning of the conversation. He continued asking, raising his voice and cutting me off. I had to raise mine just so I could hear myself over him. I finally told him I'm not answering the question again and he needs to answer why they posted a false advertisement and then refused to honor it. He continued to ask the question about whether I was told about the new price or not. Again, I told him I'm not answering. As he was yelling at me and cutting me off, he said, "I'm trying to give you your refund if you just answer the question." I told him, again, I already answered. He then proceeded to hang up on me. All that said, I have contacted the main La Quinta customer service. They agreed that the original price should have been honored and are now pursuing my refund. If that doesn't go through, my attorney is going to have a field day with this place--and once he gets in touch with everyone else who was ripped off by this blatant false advertisement, hopefully a lot more people will find some solace Seems to me their manager, Taylor, is a liability and about to cost the company a lot of money. Maybe they'll wise up and promote the blonde girl and get rid of their current abysmal managerial staff.…
Don’t stay there! We were there for 2 nights and will not go back. On arrival we were given a key for the 2nd floor. Key worked fine, opened the door only to discover a couple with dogs was living there long term. Scary that they gave us that room and not only that it opened, but they knew it had long term people and dogs . Later we saw more dogs and apparently the hotel is used for guests that are there long term. Then they wanted to give us a room right next door to the barking dogs. We declined. We were then given a room on the third floor, too far from the only elevator, so we ended up climbing the stairs with our bags. No toilet paper in the bathroom. We called and they were supposed to bring it up. Waited 20 minutes, nobody came so we went down to pick up a roll ourselves. The next day there was no service at all. Nothing was done to refresh our room. We couldn’t wait to get out of there and even though we visit Thousand Oaks quite frequently, we’ll make sure we’ll avoid staying at the La Quinta from now on…
The room was not fully clean when we got there. There was an empty alcohol bottle and empty soda bottle in the corner of the room. There was a dirty towel in the wardrobe. The bathtub faucet had dirt or grass on it, or something like that. I would definitely not stay here again.
Pros: Manager was friendly, gave us bottles of water. The pool was seemingly clean and warm. SO MANY CONS: -Set reservations up online for Wed-Fri, received confirmation for Tues-Thurs?! -Landscape/pool service man&woman showed up in unprofessional attire looking disheveled. Turned sprinklers on as we were trying to leave pool area and soaked our belongings and baby! They could easily have waited literally ONE MINUTE for us to walk through! Unbelievably rude. -No hot breakfast, unhealthy processed junk food offered instead... -Rooms were utterly DISGUSTING!!! -Snot, blood, and filth on walls of both rooms and both bathrooms as well. -Stains on ceiling. -Tile cracked in bathroom, sharp. -No vent in bedroom bathroom. -Pull out couch mattress completely stained, looked and smelled like it came from the dump. -Had to ask multiple times for pool towels which were either not in stock or the few given were rough/old/stained. -Glass door to suite constantly was getting stuck. -No anti-slip bath mat, tub extremely slippery. -Toys left under recliner from previous guests. -Outdated lamps' charging ports don't fit modern plugs for phone chargers. -OUR ENTIRE KING SUITE (Room 337) HAD MULTIPLE HEALTH HAZZARDS!!! The manager made it very clear to the gentleman in line in front of me that they were completely booked with no rooms available, so I felt bringing all of these issues to his attention was futile as there were no other rooms to give us that might be cleaner or SAFER. It should be noted that we have twin preschoolers and an infant. This cesspool of a La Quinta hotel was completely unacceptable and the Wyndham brand should be ashamed to have this hotel representing their name! Our family will NOT be staying at any Wyndham hotels again.…
