Its in a beautiful location. We were surprised by the size of our room. There was a living room and kitchen attached, and a separate bathroom. Those are the good points. Bad points are there was an open tampon in the bathroom cupboard. The tv didn't have any channels so we were given 2 dvds! The bed was big but...

Grabbed a room last minute. Cheap, under $100 for two queen beds. Clean and quiet. Cable tv. Wifi was decent enough to watch Netflix on my tablet. Only strange thing: office is open from about 3p-9p so if you want to get a room outside those times I guess you are stuck?!?

Three of my sons friends flew to LA rented a car & drove to Bakersfield. My husband & I drove them to Sequoia National Park to hike Mt. Whitney. Their stay was in Cabin 513. Perfect place to stay before hiking. Beds were great as were the pay showers. There is a small picnic table outside the cabin with a...

We really weren't expecting much with this room - you know just clean, quiet and available at check in time. Well we had to wait in the 105 degree heat for someone to show up for check in at 3:00. We were finally able to check in almost an hour later. The remote to the TV battery was dead, the...

An old CRT TV (more than 20 years old?) does not improve your impression about the room. The room was small, the bathroom shower door does not stay shut making bathroom floor wet, and the shower head needs replacement. Small refrigerator barely worked. Some positives; close proximity to the part entrance, clean bed sheets, towels.

I don't know what everyone is talking about but this place was actually decent. We had read the reviews and prepared for the worst, but our stay ended up being pleasant. Because someone had mentioned it was dirty in their review, I insisted on bringing a sleeping bag to lay on top of the bed. I was wrong. Our room...

My husband and I when we showed up it was in the range of checking in. The door to the office said open and ring bell for help or call one of the two numbers they left on the door. Well we both had no service on out cells, and we rang the bell multiple times. So we left to...

My family (6 people) and I stayed at The Rivers Inn not the cabins 17 Dec-20 Dec 2015. The only positive comment I have is the close proximity (approximately 2 miles from the entry of Sequoia National Park). The rooms are dirty...outdated and disgusting. Rooms haven't been cleaned in ages and there was no housekeeping available. Bathrooms were filthy...and just...
