Visited The River Inn recently during the Jazz festival in Three Rivers, CA. Places in town were all booked up and this was the last available room. Dirt cheap but you get what you pay for. Pros: Not one but TWO Wi-Fi networks. Yeah internet! Cost was very reasonable. Proximity to Sequoia Natl. Park can't be beat (1 mile!) so...

Not sure what was worse: A huge spider underneath the bedspread or mildew caked on the shower head. The carpet wasn't vacuumed in awhile either. The phone in the room didn't work, or we would have called to get these things fixed. Left a day early because sleeping in the room another night was not a possibility. Management didn't care...

Hate giving bad reviews but people need to be warned! We arrived at 9:00 pm. after a long day of hiking and nobody was in the front office, the sign on the door read "open" but the door was locked. We weren't able to check and went down the road to a better hotel. We've been on a 4 month...

On first impression i was a bit apprehensive. The front desk was unattended so we had to follow the signs out the back to a young couples house. They were very nice about it though. The shower was nice. The wifi was slow. The location was good. A little after we checked in a gentleman came and greeted us. He...

We stayed at the River Inn the eve before thanksgiving. Victoria and her husband were extremely accomodating and helpful. We enjoyed a very nice BBQ meal. The accommodation itself is simple but effective and clean. The view and peace and quite enjoyed from the veranda are priceless!

This place did everything we needed it to. Gave us a place to lay our heads while visiting the beautiful sequoia national forest. Very convenient location. The people were very friendly and took care of anything we needed. I would recommend staying there.

Stayed here recently having booked through another service, wish it had checked tripadvisor first! Was touted as being a 3 star property, it's a 0.5 star. Room was ok, bed comfortable with TV and refrigerator, but that's it! Owner sells TV dinners in office and calls it a gift shop! No restaurant! No breakfast! A so called kids play area...

We stayed here for three days, two nights, while visiting Sequoia-Kings Canyon. It is a great location for getting to Crystal Caves, Moro Rock and on through to Kings Canyon, and the best value we could find in the area. The room was nice and clean, nothing fancy, but perfect for a place to spend the night between adventures. We...

We spent 2 nights here, visiting the park during the day. Very well placed with a store and eatery next door. We had all we needed. Then owner leant me a container to use in the microwave oven so I could cook some corn!
