The place is not clean. Theres a homeless person camped on the edge of the property so we were fearful of being robbed everytime we left. There were neighbira surroumdimg the property with small amounts of woods betweeen you and them so seclusion is nonexistent. There were roaches and the cabin does not provide essentials. There was a half roll of toiletpaper when we arrived. The house smelled stale and mildewy until we aired it out. The hot tub seemed clean but gave my wife a rash. We will never stay at this place again.

Mountain chalet? More like mountain challenge It lists as sleeping 5. However, every guest over 2 people are charged per person. We found that out the day before our trip. When we got there, there were wasps everywhere: in the house, in the enclosed porch, wasp nests under every eave and in many windows. We drove all the way back into town to get 4 cans of wasp spray before we could even unpack. The beds listed as queen beds are not. The A/C unit in the bedroom does nothing but make a lot of noise. It is pretty stuffy in there, but most windows don't open and the ones that do, have wasp nests in them. One toilet didn't flush, one toilet ran all the time. Had to fix the valve in one to make it flush. Every time we used the very old coffee maker, we blew a circuit in the kitchen. Finally just made coffee on the floor in the living room. We had to fix the front step so no one broke an ankle on the loose rock. As a parting shot, they ask you to clean the house as you leave, which we would expect to do, but the vacuum doesn't work and there is no broom/dustpan inside. If you happen to buy a bottle of wine from a local winery to enjoy on the deck, bring your own corkscrew; they don't have one that works. View from the deck is very nice and the location is cool, setting is quiet and peaceful. Bring wasp spray, a good multi-tool, a corkscrew and a willingness to fix things and you will enjoy your time. For the money they charge, there are much better options; but taught our kids how to be self sufficient travelers.
