I actually thought I was booking another hotel, but was very happy with my ultimate choice! The room was very comfortable with a big screen TV. A good Italian restaurant was literally steps away. Just a mile from the Caverns. Very pleasant staff.
Nice renovated rooms. Bed not too firm not too soft. Not squeaky. Very friendly staff. Dust on lamps and edges of bed, corners. Grime on clock, tray, dim lighting. Trash not emptied on arrival. Rm 120 pipes leaked puddles on floor. Smelled of smoke or musty. Room 112 ( replacement room) no blow dryer. No discount offered.
The Quality Inn, located at 410 West Main Street in LURAY, Virginia provided us exactly what was needed to recharge and rest while traveling from Tennessee back home to the Philadelphia area (Delco). Staff were so friendly and helpful also and provided us with dinner and breakfast recommendations which were on point! We highly recommend this location to anyone needing a place to stay while traveling or for a quick get away.
The hotel we had booked the pool was broken so this hotel saved the day. The kids swam for hours and we ordered food and ate by the pool. We brought our own food for breakfast but the restaurant looked popular. Great location for Luray and Shenandoah.
This place is a dump. The room was dirty, dark, and reeked of smoke, even though supposedly nonsmoking. No housekeeping services. The door to the first room we were given didn't even close or lock, though the staff seemed to be unaware of this (otherwise, why give us that room?).
Stay away! We were put on the first floor in the back of the hotel. Our non-smoking room was obviously smoked in because it reeked of cigarettes. The bedspreads and blankets all had stains on them. Thank goodness for the flat sheet! The carpets were dirty as well as the tile area in front of the sink. The microwave was dirty inside and sticky outside. The water in the sink didn’t drain but luckily my husband knew how to fix it from underneath. The bathroom fan is super loud so if you have kids don’t turn on the light in the middle of the night for fear of waking anyone up. 1 star because the the shower was nice with good water pressure. I have a headache from the cigarette infused room. Definitely will never stay here again.
Gross. The room reeked with smoke. I found ash on the base of a lamp. There were flies in the room. The fridge looked like it’s never been cleaned. There’s also juice on the floor just in front of the fridge. Read over the reviews before you book.
Most places breakfast is free but the rooms are high. This was reasonable rooms and very high quality breakfast. Location was great for where we were working in the area. The staff was friendly and courteous.
The motel was nice and clean and the person who checked me in was friendly. They didn't seem close to anything that we were interested in doing. They offered a breakfast for a fee but we decided to go elsewhere but there was coffee in the lobby.
Spent a night in Luray after traveling part of Skyline Drive on a beautiful fall day. Our room was as advertised, the motel was easy to find, and it was very quiet. Breakfast at their restaurant was also good and we enjoyed dinner at the Italian restaurant next door. No complaints.
