We stayed here while visiting the Grand Canyon on our honeymoon. We are thrifty travelers and don't like to spend very much on sleeping accommodations. This place is a Route 66 motel and is full of nostalgia of the era. It's not the Hilton but it's clean and comfortable and the staff are nice and helpful. Highly recommend for anyone...

The young man at the desk when we checked in was very nice. The room was old and tired and while the sheets and towels were clean the room was just kind of icky. The prices vary ridiculouly but I guess that is true throughout Flagstaff..what ever the traffic will bear. The room was worth the $61 that is usually...

The 'Great Rates' statement on sign out front is deceiving .... We were unaware that the price would jump almost 3x overnight. I get that places can go up in price, depending on the time of year (or long weekends), but this incredible jump in price is not reasonable, and has left a very bad taste in our mouths. We...

An older motel that is clean with a good bed and a good shower. The water is a little hard though. Their wi-fi was pretty good, which is a plus. But electrical outlets are at a premium, if you have multiple electronics to keep charged or recharged. We travel with a power strip to keep all our stuff going.

Okay, not exactly my choice for a weekend destination, but booked on short notice and Memorial Day Weekend. The place is vintage and looks nice from the outside, and is a great spot location wise on the main road going through town. The room I had could use a remodel and updating, but the bed was clean and very comfortable,...

So my friend and i stayed here and it was really cheap - $40 for both of us for a night. We were happy. Bed was comfy, big tv, showers worked, the location was good and the room was decently decorated. A lot of people are hating on this hotel but you need to remember that this isn't the Hilton....

I chose this motel because I read some okay reviews about it. Not great but it sounded budget friendly and clean. It was not clean. It was unsafe. And if you are a female travelling alone, DEFINITELY avoid this place. I pretty much gave up on budget motels last year and started seeking out Airbnbs. Got tired of being over...

We have stayed at The L Motel many times over the past couple of years and every time we are very happy with the owner(s), staff and our room. It is a quaint little old motel right on the main drag in Flagstaff - just across the street from Granny's Closet and the NAU campus. No frills, or luxurious amenities,...

I usually prefer to use small business merchants. I find they are priced right and offer better service usually. However, our stay at the L was disappointing to say the least. We were given room 119 that is not clean, smells of smoke (asked for non-smoking room) and is in serious need of repairs! The door jam was damaged and...
