This is a hotel that teases you with a low level motel-like look from the outside but a luxuriously appointed interior. A reception area displaying large pieces of agate and polished wood greet you as you enter. The rooms are large with two double beds as well as still having room for two armchairs and a large table. The bathroom...

loved it here wish we could have stayed longer. Huge room spotlessly clean and the bed was soooo comfy, the staff are a delight really friendly really helpful. I do wish we had driven back from the Grand Canyon and stayed here another night instead of staying at Bates motel ( El Tovar - but that's a different story )...

Attractive facility with spacious rooms. There's a large area adjacent to the property with hiking trails. We had a great view from a ground floor room. The only downside to us was the somewhat dated shower facilities.

It is an elegant property with a feel of luxury. My only criticism is that it can be a challenge for the handicapped. The handicapped parking is far away from the main entrance and some accesses have stairs. The only other thing I can say is the entrance of Butler is kinda of non-luxury. That being said when you get...

I had looked this up on trip advisor before my trip and thought it may have been pricey - but we later found out - all hotels that week were pricey due to spring break and people traveling to the Grand Canyon. After a long drive from Vegas we pulled in to flagstaff around 12:30am on Saturday night and several...

Our family of 4 stayed 3 nights and wouldn't have changed a thing! The hotel & restaurant staff were extremely helpful, accommodating, and very friendly. The lobby and restaurant looked newly updated, our room was not, but I loved it anyway. Our room was very clean and well cared for, and quite spacious! We would definitely stay here again on...

Loved it here - very comfortable, we were able to check in 3 hours early with no problem, rooms and bathrooms were very spacious, and got to spend some relaxing time at the pool/hot tub. My parents hiked the 2-mile trail behind the hotel and really enjoyed it.

After a long and gruelling drive from Vegas we finally arrived at this Hotel. We entered the reception entrance and was greeted by a very friendly young lady who took care of all our needs. We then went to our allocated room not knowing what to expect but as we turned the key we were greeted not a room but...

Huge, comfortable rooms. Courteous and helpful staff. Large bathrooms with lots of towels. We really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this hotel! The furniture is vintage 1950's but is in pristine condition and adds a touch of elegance from a bygone era. This hotel is clean, comfortable, and reasonably priced!

My husband and I had a 2 night stay over Easter weekend. Beautiful lobby and well kept grounds. Our room was huge overlooking the pines and pool area. The room decor is dated but in great condition. Very quiet. The lobby and restaurant are upscale. The staff were all friendly helpful and very attentive. We ate a late dinner the...
