We stayed at is very nice park in July, 2016 while exploring Roosevelt National Park and the south western part of North Dakota. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The pads were of dirt or gravel, that made it a little dusty when the wind came up, they are very crowded (close together), but we are used to that...

If you want to camp near Teddy Roosevelt National Park with a reservation, Medora Campground should satisfy your needs. This isn't a resort campground with lots of activities to keep you busy. It's a place to sleep as you explore the National Park and surrounding attractions. There is another campground in Medora that looked cramped, so we chose the Medora...

Stayed one night over Labor Day weekend. The place was packed full of RV's. It poured rain and there was some mud but it was not too bad considering how much rain there was. The staff is very nice and are able to print your tickets for the Pitchfork Fondue and for the musical. Showers are decent and the water...

Stayed in the Rustic Campground Cabin. Clean, nice small fridge, beds comfortable, and newer pillows. AC unit and heat available. Close to the bathroom and office. Bathrooms in the Campground clean and kept up nice. Location close to the Medora Musical and close to the Chateau de Mores residence. So many activities in the Medora area including Teddy Roosevelt National...

It was a minute or two from the entrance to TRNP. The bathrooms and separate shower rooms were clean. It is on the little Missouri River. We enjoyed walking/wading in it, although others couldn't get beyond the murky sandy water along the sandstone cliff. There is a public pool nearby that we did not use because we enjoyed the free...

Great location and cabin rental for 3 days of mountain biking on the Mah Daah Hey and connecting Buffalo Gap trail. Looks like a very modern, well furnished modular unit. For 2 people it was very comfortable. The rooms and area is very small - almost miniature, which was the only downside surprise. I was hoping for more people to...

The campground office is well run. And you can even get your activity tickets there. Campsites seem to be all pull through, with limited space for outdoor lounging. We had planned to let our daughter swim in the afternoon, but returned around 3 pm to find a Closed for the Season sign at the pool. Were told by friends there...

This campground itself is OK, pretty standard stuff. I really like it because of it's location. It is close to the town of Medora, close to the musical, and close to the entrance to Theodore Roosevelt National Park. The community swimming pool is along the driveway into this RV park, so it is a quick walk (additional fees apply, the...

Medora campground was absolutely beautiful. The grounds and facilities were very clean and well kept. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. There is a nice swimming pool on the property for the kids. Will definitely go back. Avoid Red Trail Campground at all cost. It is horrible.

We stayed one night while attending the Medora Musical. It's located on the edge of town across the access road to the musical so the location worked out well for us. We were comfortable in a pull through site. The sites were a bit wider than others we have been in and there were some trees. Staff mentioned that the...
