Spacious, clean suites. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Valet parking only. There is no electric vehicle charging at this hotel, but found a spot a couple of blocks away. Centrally located just a couple of blocks from city hall. The evening reception was a nice touch. Breakfast was good. The hallways looked like they could use a good vacuuming, but the suite itself and other common areas were well maintained. Pet friendly suites available.

Great afternoon front desk (greeted us daily and gave great advice about fun things to see). Easiest downtown hotel I have ever visited. Requires valet parking but reasonably priced with in/out all day and night. We were able to walk to canal for stroll along piers and had a nice meal. Several good restaurants within walking distance. Fully cooked breakfast during week and breakfast box on weekend. Quiet, clean, and spacious rooms made this stay excellent. Quality of room above average for typical embassy suites.

I love the Hilton Hotels lack of giving travelers a clean room and quality service since 2021. I stayed in a extra excess executive suite with a cheap whirlpool bathtub. The room I was in had bad stains on the carpet between the bath and the room, carpets in the hallway on the 8th floor needed to be replaced as many areas were either stained or a trip hazard to a woman in heels. That’s my opinion. Perhaps if management does respond they can ascertain when this property was updated or refreshed. The Hilton Honors desk only stated it was opened in 2008. But when wallpaper begins to peel and carpets are soiled it’s time to refresh if management team wishes to keep customer loyalty. Here is the really stupid thing, I complained to both the restaurant staff and to the front desk manager about the temperature of the breakfast oats. Note they are so I warm that the butter pasty does not melt - and I am a retired NASA rocket scientist. But I tried to eat anyway… ZNASTY NASTY NASTY. I brought up this concern to the front desk as well as to the restaurant staff and the replies I got were 1) they are hot when we put them out there, and if we turn the heating element on, then they will dry out. Or the front fest 30 yr old supposedly manager stated he would notify the head of food and beverage. But the next two days more of the same. Essentially they are just milking this property to maximize the local investors ROI. Stay away and just book yourself elsewhere as I just did. Note the Staybridge Suites in Amherst NY is excellent and clean…they care out here for true customer service. Pictures of nasty carpet in executive room attached just in case you think I am making this stuff up. And the housekeeping staff only services the rooms once every five days. Crap, I was on 4 cruises this year for 59 days and the cruise lines service each room at least once a day and Princess cruiselines does it twice a day. We all should demand that the rooms are serviced each day because we are paying nearly $200 per night with taxes.

AVOID at all costs! This place has regrettably gone down hill!! So many better options in the area. We have stayed here in the past and it was nice, this time, not so much. There have been many reviews about cleanliness, and they are all correct. The cleaning staff must be napping in the rooms, rather than doing any cleaning. I assume this, as when they go in to clean a room, they close the door, which is typically a no, no at better hotels. Oversized suite #533, was a MESS! From the stains on all the counters, crumbs everywhere on the carpet, a quarter of a roll of toilet paper on the reel and no back up (tried to call down to the front desk several times and no answer, actually had to call the 800# to get through), urine stains on the toilet and a shower that flooded from the moment the water came on. I was embarrassed I picked this hotel for a guys weekend. I will not stay here ever again and will make me think twice about an Embassy Suites anywhere else. To top things off, I finally was able to see my bill today and they charged me for valet parking both nights. We took the train in and had no vehicle. Not to be a snob, but my status was never acknowledged and we were handed (2) waters. No (2) snacks per guest. I get that it is hard to find decent help these days, but if your going to run a motel, charge accordingly!

This was my first stay at Embassy Suites, Buffalo. I found the hotel to be clean in public spaces as well as in my suite. The staff (valet, front desk, breakfast area) were all courteous and helpful. I never had to wait for a greeting or response to a question or request. I stayed in a suite with my elderly mother, my husband and my young grandson. We all felt very comfortable in our rooms and enjoyed being located in a row of three rooms with other family members. The buffet breakfast was much nicer, with a much wider variety, than you usually experience at a hotel. The dietary preferences and needs of our entire party were met with multiple options. The only negative was that the swimming pool was not operational during our stay. We knew it was unavailable in advance, so while it was a disappointment, it wasn’t a surprise. The valet service was great and went well as we parked and got the car several times in order to take items to a wedding venue. The hotel was in a great location and the views from our 7th floor rooms were stunning! I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to the Buffalo area. It cost a bit more but in this case I felt as though we got what we paid for.

I travel a lot for work. This is the first visit to this Embassy Suites. My room was not cleaned. The sheets, duvet and floor was covered in black hair, looked like someone shaved or received a haircut in the bed and on the floor. I don’t have black hair. I requested new bedding. Around 10pm they brought up new sheets, and handed them to me. They were the wrong size, and just sheets. 2nd trip they handed me wadded up sheet that looked possibly clean and left. I ended up sleeping on only my sheets, no pillows or blanket because at 11 pm I gave up & I was tired after a 5.5 drive. 8am comes around, I have to explain everything again and ask to simply have new bedding and my floor vacuumed. 2pm I return from meetings, no one has touched my room. Another request and reexplain to another new person. He contacts the Mngr of housekeeping who advised that they cleaned my room, when they didn’t at all. I speak to the Hotel Mngr and advise him of the issues, I am told it will be cleaned immediately. And hour later they come to my room, change the sheets only, place my pillows on the dirty floor and back on my bed with HAIR again, spray it with air freshener and leave. Never vacuuming, never changing the duvet or pillows that are dirty and have someone’s else’s hair on them. There’s a lounge area, that happened to be right outside my room and that’s where I sat while I waited. At this point… I’m livid, grossed out and I check out early to find another hotel. Yes, I received a bill. I would’ve been better off sleeping in my car or at a 1 star motel.

Stayed here with our hockey team for a Buffalo tournament. Our experience was a mixed bag of bad and good. The bad: our room smelled like someone smoked it in and then the “housekeeping” just sprayed a bunch of chemicals to cover the smell. We kept our door open all day to air it out, but I crawled into bed at night she felt like I was inhaling an ash tray! Gross!! There were red stains on the carpet (like Gatorade or juice stains). The floors were dirty, the couch was ripped and stained (not sure what the white stains were and don’t want to know!). The toilet runs unless you jiggle the handle in just the right way. Room 416 needs a major overhaul!! What’s up with the tiny pillows?? The pillows in the bed are square the size of throw pillows. Maintenance cart left in hall on 4th floor. Also bad: no self park! There is a public garage about a block and a half away, but I wouldn’t feel safe walking there after dark! The only option is valet and as someone who isn’t comfortable with valet, I would decline to stay here again for that reason alone. The great: Erica at the front desk. I had a totally useless staff member check me in, she was next to him and answered all my questions- very friendly. When we went to bed at 10pm and felt ad though we were eating an ash tray, I called the front desk and asked to be moved. Erica not only helped me to get another room, but came up and gave us the key and got us a room in the same floor for ease of moving. She had a smile on her face and was so nice…. If they couldn’t move us, I’m sure we would have slept in our car somewhere! The good: the kids ran in the hall and had a great time without getting yelled at (during normal day hours- they were sleeping during quiet hours). Rooms were big and our team could hang out in one room. Friendly bartenders! Overall: disgusting first room!, bad parking options, friendly staff and fun experience for the kids. Would not stay here again.

I highly recommend the Embassy Suites Buffalo. Not only is it in a great location, its also an excellent value and truly has an outstanding staff. They are compassionate and service oriented which always makes for a great visit. I’m told the restaurant space has recently been renovated and look forward to returning!

This place is a dump! The rooms were filthy and looked as though they hadn’t been thoroughly cleaned in months (stains on the bed covering, blood on the wall in the bathroom, the air vents, lamp shades and pictures were covered in dust. The help was rude and not helpful, and both of the front sliding doors were broken! Maybe my worst hotel experience ever! Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere!

Embassy suites was over the top for our 1 night stay that turned into a 6 day stay! They fed us and talked us into feeling great while they all missed their family’s. It was maybe the scariest storm we have ever been in and they controlled all of the concerns and fed us all. Thank you so very much!!!
