We went to Newport two week ago and we lodged in this luxury inn. Every detail in this historic house contributes to create a fantastic atmosphere. Our room was The Master Suite elegantly furnished. The bathroom was huge and extremely refined, we had never seen a fireplace in a bathroom ! Marisa, the innkeeper, is very kind and willing to...

The Inn was clean, comfortable, and conveniently located. It was a only a ten minute walk to the Thames Street waterfront area and only a ten minute drive to the Mansions on Bellevue Avenue. The welcoming care of the Innkeeper, Marise, is what sets this place apart from others. She cooked a wonderful breakfast and provided information regarding activities and...

A wonderful two nights stay in the John La Farge room in September. We felt privileged to be able to stay in such a beautiful house. The breakfasts were delicious. Thank you Marise for making us feel so welcome. We have such good memories of our 2 days in Newport.

We spent a wonderful two nights at the La Farge Perry House. Wish we had stayed for longer! Every facet of this place is wonderful beginning with Marise the hostess, a charming, interesting, vibrant young lady with an incredible background. There is nothing she won't do to make your stay completely enjoyable and relaxing. The property is a gem, a beautifully restored old mansion. With plenty of on site parking and a short walk to Newport's great downtown...

We booked a last minuet trip to Rhode Island for a little get away to relax. We never expected the level of service that we received. Upon meeting our Inn Keeper, Marise, we knew instantly that we had picked the right place to stay. She made our family feel welcomed and attended "read" into the desires of our heart without...

Conveniently located and nicely appointed historical house. Welcoming hostess (Marise) greeted us and gave us a tour of the house. Marise went out of her way to make sure that we were completely supplied when we decided to go on an impromptu picnic. She also prepared a delicious, full breakfast each morning and accommodated our special requests. The only caution...

This is a very clean, comfortable bed and breakfast in a convenient location, within walking distance to the harbor and other attractions. The room we stayed in, the Commodore Perry, was very comfortable and quiet with a nice big bathroom. Sitting on the porch in the afternoon was very relaxing, and we thoroughly enjoyed spending time with Marisa. Breakfasts were...

I visited LFP House back in 2010 when it had a different innkeeper, who was nice, but not quite as special as the new innkeeper Marise! She has a wonderful, welcoming personality and gave us some great recommendations for food and tips for getting around town. The room that we stayed in was at the top of the house and...
