My husband and I spent four days at The Malbone House last week. We have in the last four years been to Newport and stayed at different B&B's, Malbone was by far the best! Outstanding accommodations; our courtyard room was impeccably clean and inviting, most comfortable bed we have ever had at a B&B. Gourmet breakfast in the courtyard was...

Such a wonderful compliment to be considered "by far the best in Newport" thank you so much. We all work very hard to make every guests visit with us a memorable one. I am delighted that enjoyed your stay with us. As I type this Colleen is busy in the kitchen preparing one of her signature Apple Pies - my...

We've stayed at FMH several times in the past but it had been a few years since we were in Newport. This place never disappoints or fails to satisfy. It's always immaculate, the staff is friendly and the food is excellent. Afternoon tea will ruin your dinner if you let it and the location is terrific if your plan is...

It is our greatest pleasure to welcome back guests to the Inn and love that the house feels like home to you. Thank you so much for such and great review - creating our menus is always so much fun but not always great for my waistline! Kind Regards Anne Maria

We spent the weekend at The Malborne house celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary. The Malborne was fantastic all around from the afternoon tea and snacks, to the gourmet breakfast in the garden and certainly all the way to the rooms. Its a beautiful home and we enjoyed all the old charm and detailed craftsmanship and architectural details of the...

My wife and I spent a weekend for our anniversary. The Francis Malbone House was a wonderful place. Right in the center of Newport so very easy to walk to restaurants and to the waterfront . The staff was very helpful in arranging reservations for dinners and advising about activities. Breakfast was great and the room was very comfortable. Our...

Thank you so much for the wonderful review and again Happy Anniversary! Courtyard room five is one of my favorite rooms especially in the warmer months when you can enjoy having the French doors open to the main courtyard. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Inn. Kind Regards Anne Maria

My now husband and I booked at the Francis Malbone for our wedding weekend. We couldn’t have chosen a better place. While we typically stay in modern high-rises in the city, for a Newport wedding we wanted a place that felt more like a home away from home, with rustic charm and at the center of it all near the...

The Francis Malbone House is a wonderful respite of luxury in the center of a very vibrant city. Its long history goes back to 1760 and has been beautifully preserved. While the inn has a formal style, it also has a relaxed atmosphere that lets you feel right at home. Service is impeccable as are the treats and breakfasts. Pastries...

Very beautiful bed and breakfast, old style, incredible breakfast, excellent location. My room wasn't very large but very well furnished and clean. Free wi-fi. If I will be back in Newport in the future, I'll certainly choose again this bed and breakfast.

Last September, my girlfriends and I stayed at the Francis Malbone House. All of us loved it! I came back again with my husband in August. I was not disappointed! Not too big, not too small, just right. Food was beyond compare--both breakfast and afternoon tea. Room was clean and comfortable. Host and staff were friendly and efficient.
