Before departing from New Zealand for our 10 day holiday in Waikiki we read the reviews of this hotel and can quite honestly say we were a little worried. Much to our surprise we found it to be a great hotel our room was fairly large had a kitchenette was clean well maintained and serviced daily. We had a corner...

I'm very surprised to read all the negative reviews for the Ohana Maile, but here's my take on it: Pros: - Cheap, and we got a free upgrade for a room with a kitchenette. Personally I don't think this is an upgrade worth paying for, but having a fridge and microwave was nice! - Staff were friendly and addressed all...

We stayed here November 7th-11th for a funeral. This is all we can find last minute in our price range. We arrived and it took them 45 minutes to find our reservations. It should of been under the last name of occupant not the travel website we booked it from! Make sure to tell them where you booked it from...

We booked this room as part of a fly+hotel package and paid only $69 a night. The room was small with only 1 double bed. But it was clean and the bed reasonable comfortable. Although the bed sheet was a little on the small side. Every morning I'd find the sheet under me had pulled away. The bathroom looked like...

My wife and i booked this hotel thru NWA vacation packages, and we read all about the Maile sky court on here before we left, not aware of the great time that was ahead of us. The worst part of the hotel was getting there, dont take a taxi, it was 40 dollars from honolulu intl. to the maile sky...

This is a cheap hotel, which is exactly what I was looking for. I was in Honolulu to look for a home -- not sun and sand. I needed a kitchenette. I paid for a kitchenette. I got a microwave -- hardly a kitchenette. I paid $15 extra each day for a microwave. I could have purchased my own microwave...

I booked a standard room but upon arrival requested an upgrade to oceanview. Much to my surprise, I was quoted only ten dollars extra! We entered our room on the top floor (44), to find a tiny room w/ one small bed but a fabulous view of the city & ocean. We made do since nothing else was available for...

We stayed there from 11/9/06 to 11/13/06. Our room smelt mildew when we first arrived. Then we made sure the shower curtain was opened and air dried everyday. The smell reduced to almost not noticeable. The bathroom was kind of small. The room size was reasonable. The bed was comfortable. We got a good view to the canal. At peak...

Stayed 4 nights. Great value. Clean room. 10 minute walk to beach. 5 minute walk to Hilton Hawaiian Village. Close to restaurants, shops, transportation. Parking is tight on weekend nights. Would recommend and will stay here again.
