I have just arrived back from my leave and thought I would give a feedback on how disappointed we are with what was advertised and what was received on our holiday at the Waikiki Beach Marriott Resort and Spa .On several internet sites this hotel is rated 4 star. In our experience as experienced travellers, this was not the case.... More

Don't get this one mixed up with the smaller Marriott property one block back from the beach. This one is right across the street from the beach. The only problem I have with this resort is there is still a problem with the homeless people at this end of Waikiki. While on vacation it's disconcerting to see someone passed out... More

Spent 3 nights here recently and was quite impressed with its location and amenities as well as the service. The front desk staff was great upon check-in and the bell staff was great at checkout too. While I still hate having the $30 resort fee tacked on for things like internet and newspaper that I should be receiving for free... More

Pool doesn't get sun until about 11a this time of year. Great views from our balcony. Also had a spacious room. Carpet was showing wear but otherwise accommodations are nice and location is good. Laundromat on site- same level as the pool and fitness center so you can pack light and wash clothes while u work out or relax by... More

Wow - these have to be the SLOWEST elevators of ANY HOTEL I've ever stayed!!! And the staff had absolutely NO IDEA where any stairs were. Get this - waited over TEN MINUTES to take the elevator 2 flights to the gym -because there were no accessible stairs. Marriott - you should be ashamed!!

Nice but small rooms and everything you would expect in a business hotel. Tiny pool and heavy traffic noise disqualifies this as a resort. About a 5 min walk to a decent part of Waikiki beach, most of which is quickly disappearing in to the ocean. May want to consider another property if you are looking for a beach resort.

I used to live in Waikiki but not familiar with this property. Booked because of my Marriott Awards!!! Best thing I ever could have done. I love the Boston Marriott Back Bay so thought try this. From the moment I arrived I was greeted with Aloha. While a large property the lobby is incredible and easy to navigate and not... More

My husband and I stayed at this hotel for six nights in September. The hotel was decent, but just didn't have the Hawaiian feel I was hoping for. We had a nice view from our balcony, which was partially of Waikiki beach and Diamond Head. Our room and beds were comfortable enough, but I did find a clump of hair... More

Nice hotel with friendly staff. We stayed with our 12 year old grandson 1 night pre cruise. After the cruise we stayed at a different hotel at the opposite end of Waikiki for a few nights. Our return flight home had a mechanical problem and after 2 hours we had to return to Honolulu. So, we decided to stay 3... More
