(This is a re-posting of a previous review because I inadvertently gave a 1 star instead of a 5 star review) My husband and I stayed at this property using points. When we arrived the woman at the front desk who checked us in said that we had been upgraded to a Diamond Head/ocean view room (due to gold level...

Huge complex. Lots of amenities. Check in line up is usually long and it took long at the counter to check in. Waikiki beach is within walking distance and do not have to cross busy street. Busy hotel, but very efficient. Lots to do or relax.

This is a large, big city hotel with I believe 32 floors directly across the street from Waikiki near Diamond Head. It has two towers and a lot of walking, restaurants and shops attached. It was very comfortable, everyone was very helpful, and the area is close to a lot of things. The breakfast buffet was good but expensive ($32...

My second time here. It's been remodeled from the last time. It looks fresh and updated but the rooms are still lacking. The outside bar has some great sunset views. The free maitai's are lacking in the yumminess and island feel. But, Jameson to the rescue lol 😂 still during the day you can get a great poolside snack or...

We just returned from a trip to this hotel as part of our 40th wedding anniversary celebration. We mentioned it while checking in, and Marianne was so lovely she had a fruit basket sent to our room. What a great treat! All of the staff was attentive, our room fabulous, and we had a wonderful week. Many thanks! Matt &...

My husband and I stopped in HI on our way to Australia. Our intent was to see Pearl Harbor. This hotel is about 1/2 hr to 45 min from the airport. The traffic is very congested here so plan ahead. The rooms are small and outdated. The bathrooms are also small with a tiny stand up shower. The balcony was...

We booked a Full Ocean View Room on the Marriott Website. When we arrived, our room had a partial view of the Ocean. We complained and they politely admitted that the website was misleading but would not resolve the issue. We had to pay extra to get a reasonable room. Very disappointing to come this far for a vacation and...

We were warmly greeted by Tina at the front desk. She walked us through all the Marriott rewards perks, answered all our questions and gave us good recommendations. She even left us a personalized welcome/thank you note in our room on the second day we were there. Tara at the concierge desk was incredible. She helped us book out our...

Hotel was ok, however the rooms are what you might expect at a holiday inn or best western. The lobby is beautiful, but of course you're not staying in the lobby, you stay in the room. In our opinion, the rooms are in desperate need of a makeover & update if they want to compete with other hotels on the...
