The hotel needs a complete makeover. The halls and rooms are very dated. The hotel is also very poorly laid out - getting to check-in desk is a maze. They should close for complete renovation. The location however is excellent.

Maybe I'm becoming jaded, but was not really thrilled here. We had a lovely oceanfront room, but since the hotel is across Kalakaua Ave from the beach, it was quite noisy at night, especially if you wanted to hear the surf as you went to sleep! I am Hyatt Platinum and David Nadelman and Melody Toporco were wonderful to deal...

I read reviews complaining about the pool and something about expensive beach chairs. First of all, who goes to the beach to sit at the pool?? Second, I was SHOCKED to find that not only did we get beach towels to take to the beach, but the beach CHAIRS were free. That's right, free. The rooms actually look better than...

Hotel is modern and very big. HigherFloors have AMAZING views. We were put on the 39th Floor (if you are afraid of heights ASK FOR A LOWER FLOOR), Elevators can take a bit to arrive. Staff is friendly and helpful. Beds are SUPER comfy. Pool is pretty small for such a HUGE hotel. I understand the beach is across the...

With a family of 5, Hyatt place was fantastic for our 14, 12 and 9 year old, we had two double beds and a sofa bed. Location is great, 3min walk to the beach, breakfast is very handy as it’s included in the rate! Service was great, the only let down was ‘Charlie’s’ Taxi Service, we had a fixed rate...

This is a two tower resort complex comprised of Eva (pronounced "EVA") and Diamonhead. The Valet parking (and the front of the hotel for Uber pickup/drop off) is at the Diamondhead tower opposite the Hyatt Ballroms across the street. Across the street is the beach and the statue of Duke Kahanamoku, the original longboard surfer of Hawaii. Right next to...

Hyatt Regency is in a good location. The pool iarea can be a little crowded for the size of the hotel but the beach is right across the road. The room we had was large with a lovely view. The staff are helpful. My only complaint is that the bathrooms are small and seem to be the original bathrooms with...

The 1st night was bad, placed into a room which had a joint door with noisy neighbours, along with a bathtub that did not drain. After complaining we were moved the next night for the rest of the stay to a better room. At least the hotel took action, thanks for the responsiveness, this is why I'd recommed this hotel

As soon as you arrive, you will be received with help for your luggage. They will indicate you to leave it there and to go to the front desk on the second floor for your check in. Once you finish your check in, you can go directly to your room and your luggage will arrive there. The hotel has its...

Aloha Fetorocks, Thank you for sharing your feedback from your stay. I am pleased to read that you found the check-in experience, and especially the help from the bell team, to be so pleasing.
