We had booked a cityview room about 4-5 months ago, (got a corporate discount so well-priced), and when we checked in, we found out that we had been upgraded to an oceanview room. That was a nice surprise! Our room was on the 34th floor, and the view of Waikiki beach was amazing. This is a very large hotel with...

Where to start ! What a fantastic place to stay, across the road from the worlds best beach is a bit hard to beat. Beautiful ocean view from our room and also looking straight out to downtown Waikiki. The city is such a buzz with lots of fun things going on on the sidewalks, each night is fun filled with...

The room is big and clean, the staff are friendly and helpful. Its location is right across the beach and you can get towels and chair from the pool. The breakfast is good and the meals at japengo are delish. Nice coffee machine in the room is a plus and we were given a complimentary bottle of champagne for our...

This is clearly a hotel that caters to large tour groups, especially groups from Asia. The hotel is very large and has over 1200 rooms. Therefore, the lobby is very "busy" and the noise level can be quite high. The location is excellent, and the beach walk is right across the street. Rooms are large and comfortable, and service is...

First time Hawaii visitor here, checked in today, 2/10. An amazing experience so far. Got in early with a sick little girl, Grace at the desk was so helpful getting us checked in early. Patrick saw us distressed with two kids and 10 bags, he immediately arranged to have them brought to the room. Gary delivered the bags, filled the...

Stayed here with friends and rooms were big and comfy beds. Great views from the balcony. Rooms can be a bit noisy pending on how many in room next door. Staff were excellent and the people on the tour desk were very helpful and informative

My partner and I stayed in this hotel for 7 nights at the end of January 2014. This hotel is (as other say) a little bit outdated, but far from being run dan. It's a very comfortable hotel with spacious rooms and nice view. The hotel is located on Waikiki beach on major walking/shopping street. The area is packed with...

I really like this location - excellent beach access - even though located "across the road". Check in area can get very busy - but my diamond membership really helped there. Penthouse suite was a dream for our family (diamond upgrade - nice!) - club was large and very generous - would love to go back.

Older hotel, but service and location and amenities are great. Stayed on 29th floor with balcony and view of Waikiki Beach and Kalakaua St. Many shops and services in the hotel, along with a good restaurant. Room was large and comfy - everybody was super nice and accommodating - would stay there again.

Ordered " delux ocean view" room, and it ends up on 6th floor, more of street view than ocean view. Asked king room, ends up 2 double bed. No room to Chang or upgrade, even if I want to pay. Nor can I downgrade to non ocean view for king bed.
