We were so disappointed with this dirty run down and badly in need of some money spent on it hotel. Our room was dirty (crumbs and unidentified stains on most surfaces, benches carpets, bathrooms, table and furniture). We had booked this as a few nights of self catering in between a couple of resorts and we couldn't cook or eat here...

great location, close to beach and transport. Hotel apartment very very dated, kitchen and bathroom in much need of face lift and in desperate need of new furniture, carpet and curtains etc. The lift and hall ways very hot and stuffy no air flow or a/c, and had a real strong unpleasant smell. Staff not always willing to help or...

My room was out of date. But had all kitchenware needed including rice maker the staff at the front desk are fantastic . these rooms are individually owned so old carpets trickeling shower was not so cool, I'm in construction so I can live with that kind of stuff but what I can't live with is to find roaches in...

The rooms are spacious with a full kitchen, wonderful views from our room. This time we were on the top floor looking down to the beach and the other view was toward the mountains over the Ala Wai Canal and golf course. Front deck staff very good and helpful.

Firstly, the good points regarding the Aston at the Waikiki Banyan. The property is in a good position - only 200 metres to the beach. The view from the room was stunning. You could sit on the balcony and watch the Sun set over the Pacific each afternoon. The pool is small. The one hour that has been given over...

This would have to be the worst hotel ever. There were dogs peeing in the lifts, the carpet stank and you could smell the sewer. The pool area was very sad and depressing. I will never stay here again nor would I recommend it to anyone.

Arrived exhausted, no porter for bags, into room and was disgusted by not just torn curtains but shredded, 2 single beds (we are married), mouldy bathroom painted over, stained and dated furniture. Paid 230 Australian not including taxes thus asked to be moved to a more suitable room with a queen bed, also asking for porter. Staff arrived took our...

Stayed in a one bedroom unit with our children (21, 16, 14, 5) for three nights. One bedroom unit had a full kitchen, two queen beds in bedroom, one bathroom which had to be accessed through the bedroom, living room had a sofa sleeper, and we also requested a rollaway twin bed. We prefer staying in units with kitchens over...

Stayed with two friends in early October. I have to say even though lots of reviews state how dated the place is, I have to say I actually loved the building. And yes the building is very dated, very seventies, however the aircon worked fine and didn't make a noise, stayed on 33rd floor in tower 2 and the mountain...
