It was great! Such a great atmosphere! Great location. Awesome service! Very modern style of hotel. The pool and views were beautiful! Great rooms with comfortable beds! Such a fancy place that makes everyone feel like a prince or princess!
Prince Waikiki lived up to and exceeded my expectations. We stayed in the ocean front harbor premier room. The views were amazing! The beds were comfy and the staff were friendly. The location was perfect. I’ll definitely stay here again.
Great service, clean room everyday and staff was very helpful especially with a poolside anniversary request. Only small concern is that we were promised a sparkling bottle of wine in our room on our anniversary that we never received.
Beautiful hotel, stunning views, clean, updated. I would recommend staying here. Located just outside the busy Waikiki center, so it was much more peaceful. Food and drink prices were high, which we expected. Was unhappy with my room location which they thankfully moved me to a higher floor.
As soon as we walked in we were greeted by Mark, he asked for my last name and without looking at anything, said my first name! He walked us up to the Club lounge to get registered and gave us a little tour along the way. Kornelia got us checked in and explained our Clubman room benefits. Our room was beautiful and had an amazing view. The Club lounge had delicious breakfasts and dinners as well as snacks throughout the day. Even a little Thanksgiving turkey dinner! Totally worth it!! We live in Hawaii but we’ll definitely be back for another “staycation”. Thank you to all the staff that we came across during our stay!
The only thing I didn’t like was the loo didn’t have a vent and door that can be closed for privacy. Two, the cafe downstairs was not good, they made my coffee and it had the coffee grains inside. And the coffee in the room was not delicious, bland, could be better for how much you’re paying.
We used this hotel as part of a Road Scholar package. It is a high-end hotel with all the amenities. It is at one end of the Waikiki district of Honolulu, close to the Ala Moana Center (a huge shopping mall just outside Waikiki) but far from most of Waikiki's attractions. Whether that is good or bad depends on what activities you will be doing. The room facilities are generally excellent. We noted the following deficiencies: (1) the toilet was in its own small alcove, had an excellent toilet bidet, but had no place to hang a towel for drying after using the bidet, (2) the room lighting was poor with no lamp placed to illuminate anyplace where you might sit to read a book, and (3) oddly there was no dresser and virtually no drawers so that we ended up living out of our suitcases for the three nights we were there, which was inconvenient and annoying. The 100 Sails Restaurant was excellent, with a breakfast and dinner buffets featuring a good variety of tasty food. The meeting rooms were kept far too cold, requiring users to wear jackets. The staff was uniformly friendly and helpful. In fact, when we arrived, I was preparing to tip the bellhop, but he reminded me that our Road Scholar package already included a generous tip for him so that there was no need for me to give him anything. He could have kept quiet and gotten more money but didn't. An honest fellow.…
We'd previously visited years ago but brought our 16 year old for his first trip to Hawaii. We wanted to make sure he thoroughly enjoyed himself so no doubt we had to return to Prince Waikiki for our week's stay. Cannot wait for our return, everyone we encountered - just awesome. Great time, beautiful views, outstanding customer service the entire time! Thanks Prince Waikiki for a memorable time.
The staff were all exceptional. Everyone we interacted with was courteous, professional and went out of their way to help. We were very pleased with our stay. I even made a mention the morning after the first night that my back was bothering me. They immediately brought up additional padding to put on the mattress to make it more comfortable. I have a very bad back so it's not surprising. But the fact that they were so quick too put in a fix for something I didn't even expect it impressed me.
Really enjoyed my stay at the Prince Waikiki! The restaurants were great, the staff was super friendly and the rooms were great. Pretty good location near lots of restaurants and the beach and also near the main shopping center as well. Also a good location for shuttle pickups if needed for any tours
