Ohana East is in a great position, tucked just behind the Princess Kaiulani. Reception is on the first floor and was Ok! The hotel definitely needs a refurbish, but in saying that the room was spacious, with a large TV and decent air conditioning. Very clean but bathroom was tiny and whoever designed the shower access was crazy. The lifts...

We have just returned from staying at this hotel. What a great location to all that Waikiki has to offer. Easy walking distance to the beach, cross the road from a food pantry and across the road from a bus. The room was clean and adequate for us as a family of four. The people at reception were polite and...

I continue to stay at this hotel for one reason,, a bell desk employee named raymond S. He greets me with a heartfelt Aloha every time. Any questions you may have, ask raymond. If he does not know the answer, he will find out for you...The rest of the bell desk staff and front desk employees also rock... Stay at...

This was my second stay in 12 months from Australia. A few hiccups to begin with, with bedding configurations and staff forgetting things, but, rooms are clean, comfortable, with great views! The cleaning staff are beautiful and helpful and I was appreciative of clean sheets and new towels every day we arrived back to our room! The location of this...

We stayed at this hotel on May 5 for 2 nights. When we arrived there was a long line at reception. The staff worked quickly and efficiently to check everyone in. The person at the front desk who checked us in was Sarah. Sarah had a beautiful smile and a wonderful welcoming 'aloha' attitude. She was positive and professional and...

9th time to Hawaii and our second family at the Ohana East. Great location in centre of Waikiki within easy reach of anything you need. Wouldn't stay anywhere else. Staff just perfect. Hopefully back next year.

Our friend booked this hotel for us since we flew out to visit her. The accommodations were what you'd typically expect--a comfy king bed, standard bathroom with a tub and shower, and a nice balcony. I really liked the ample parking in the parking garage attached to the hotel and I appreciated that we never had to wait very long...

Wonderful stay! Checked in by Maile, she alone is reason for 5 stars. Clean room and close to everything. Found parking on street because I didn't want to pat the $30 for parking. Took a while but found one close. Some areas are free others are metered parking. Read signs.

I stayed in Ohana East for about 3 nights, and I booked the hotel based on recommendation by Hapalua halfmarathoon organizers. The hotel was literally 5 minute walk to waikiki beach where the race also started. As my primary purpose of travelling to Honolulu was participating in the run, I booked the budget-city hotel as recommended. It is close to...
