Stayed here for 5 nights on the way home from travelling the states. Stayed in a city view one bedroom suite on a high floor. Upon checking I asked about upgrading to a bigger room, but was advised they were booked out, so they organised a rollaway bed which my son appreciated after sharing a bed with his brother for...

This beautiful relaxing beachfront hotel was well worth paying for, it's location was so handy to everything our oceanfront room was located in the oceantower with superb direct views of surf &sand from our balcony, what more could you ask for as the ocean waves rolled over. You have plenty of choose for meals but there's plenty of choice within...

The Outrigger is big hotel directly at the Waikik beach. The beach itself is small and the few beach chairs are in great demand. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are nice and ther is only partial ocean view. Infront of the hotel there is the beach with nice sand and great water. In the middle of the hotel...

Super friendly front staff. Speedy check in. Nice clean rooms. A/C works great. Bar by the pool has crap service. Location is outstanding, right on the water. Walk to everything in Waikiki. Avoid the shops downstairs. Tourist traps. Go to the ABC store across the street for sundries. Coffee shop downstairs for all you coffee fiends. The shampoo smells like...

The Outrigger Reef was a really nice hotel to start our trip in Hawaii. The open plan entrance was very inviting, with immediate views of the pool and poolside bar. 2 friends and I stayed in a one bedroom suite, which included two double beds and a fold out sofabed. The room and beds (incl) sofa were all very comfortable....

To find a beachfront hotel in this location at these prices is a dream come true. While not as prestigious, the hotel is lovely, the rooms are very nice and totally updated and modern, the restaurants are good with one with ocean views and the hotel is right near the most famous hotels. The hotel has won many awards and...

We stayed in the Outrigger Reef on the Beach late last year and found the hotel and its staff to be fantastic. We had arrived in Waikiki early morning and had asked for an early check as we were traveling with a toddler. By the time we had our breakfast at one of the restaurants that are located on the...

We have used the Outrigger for the past few years as a one nighter between the outer islands and connecting flights back home early the following morning. Great location, reasonable rates if you book ahead and very good staff. If you are not in high season book a lower end room and they will then "up sell" you at 50%...

Do a pass on this hotel. If you want to sit on the beach you will need to rent a chair for 30 bucks! The interior hotel pool is wall to wall uncomfortable chairs that can't be moved towards the sun without having to move everyone else. The concrete edges of the pool are rough and need resurfacing. My bathing...

Waikiki is basically Vegas in the tropics now. But the Outrigger Reef has very good service, good rooms & a great location out of most of the madness with a slice of beach. It's a great value for the area. Also the pool is quite nice. Breakfast buffet is good also. Great for families.
