Although a bit dated, this hotel was clean, the staff were friendly and it is in a great location. My room was clean, had a small bathroom that was recently renovated and overlooked the pool with a view of Waikiki beach. The reason for the 4 was for the following reasons - noisy a/c which made it difficult to sleep...

The hotel is located steps from the beach and the zoo. Easy access to everything on the main Blvd. The staff was incredibly professional and nice. The hotel is a little dated specifically in the bathroom but everything else was updated.

We had a wonderful stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful with all our questions. They upgraded us to a beautiful room with a balcony with an amazing view. While it is not the most modern hotel, it was comfortable and clean that provided us a good night sleep to be ready for the next day adventures. I would...

If you're young go to the hostel right behind (The Beach Waikiki Boutique Hostel) the accommodations are much nicer for a quarter of the price with free wifi (unlike this hotel) and free breakfast, and free pizza nights (wish we knew about this place before). Queen Kapiolani charges to keep your bags behind the desk after you checkout and the...

Staff says the hotel will be closed for renovations soon. She is showing her age. The food was good, the staff was wonderful. Our bathroom had a dripping faucet, and overall the hotel was showing signs of age. It is on the edge of Waikii, but close to the beach. So we were limited as to restaurants within walking distance,...

I stayed at Queen Kapiolani from April 12-18, 2017. The hotel was built in 1969 and appears it has not been upgraded since. This was my seventh trip to Waikiki in seven years. I decided to try Queen Kapiolani because I had never stayed on the east end of Waikiki. Things did not go well and this hotel proved to...
