I was there for a conference (this was not the conference hotel). Our hotel was clean however the breakfast was so funny and nonsence. They should change that.
They shoudl definitely renovate this hotel. At least the view from my room was not bad :)
Our room is clean enough, amenities are there, like coffee and toiletries. Location is not bad, a walking distance to the beach. Quiet room, where we're at. Staff are okay. They have a computer room to print the boarding pass but 10 cents per page....More
Room was clean enough but cramped for two adults and two teenagers with outdated furnishings. Excellent position for walking around Waikiki. Staff were friendly, pool was refreshing, and the bar downstairs was an excellent way to spend a lazy afternoon with some locals.
Room is horrible, smelled like cigarettes! I booked this room on hawaiian airlines online, then they over charged us with 118dollars! I asked them what the hell that was for and the didn't even know! I booked this room with hawaiian airlines, and, never, ever, book...More

No The pool is not heated. I have stayed during all months from to June and October and the pool was always warm at those times from sunlight.. I guess it could be a little cool December/January. There is a heated Spa Pool adjacent to the pool. I would imagine being Hawaii the water in the pool would never get much below 24 degrees even in the coolest months.
