A fabulous luxury 5 star hotel in Honolulu. It's the best hotel in the area! Situated on the beach side, surrounded by shops, restaurants and other hotels. So convenient to get around. Everything is just a few steps away. Our room is lovely, spacious, comfortable and has the gorgeous ocean view. Turn down service is provided every evening. There was also a Nespresso machine in room. We love our coffee in the morning. Apparently this hotel is very popular for wedding venue. It has an elegant and classy interior. Great ambiance. Love their lobby and seating area on the ground floor. Every corner is well decorated. We had the opportunity to dine at 3 of their restaurants. House Without A Key, Orchids and La Mer. Great dining experience especially the 7 course degustation meal at the gorgeous La Mer. That is really the highlight of our entire stay at Halekulani. It was amazing. good as usual!! I would like to get some of the souvieniors at the shop. I would like to have a Japanese restaurant inside hotel. Telephone system and telephone itself is not so good enough as a first class hotel.

Excellent Hotel in all aspects: accomodations, staff, restaurants. It is a very classy and elegant hotel. Despite the crazy bussy time during the thanksgiving week, the hotel offered a retreat from the bustling street.

We loved the Halekulani. It felt a quiet haven away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki Beach. It is a little hard to get to the actual beach spot, so if you want beaches I would probably look elsewhere. The pool was so lovely and peaceful. We really enjoyed our time. Very close to restaurants. My ONLY complaint is the bed is a bit hard. Didn't have the best nights of sleep, but the room was beautiful outside of that.

Overall experience was great. Love the location. Professional and friendly staff. Service at Breakfast buffett was very poor and food was okay. Second day we decided to have breakfast at the Orchids restaurant and it was a great experience. Currenty, there is no desinated spa area, services are being provided in the hotel rooms.

Our 2nd fall visit to the Halekulani was so special! My husband coordinated with the hotel to have a gorgeous tropical floral arrangement waiting for my birthday! Coconut cake and champagne were delivered to the room for our anniversary! I love the little tokens left during the evening turn down service. The individuals working in valet are exceptional and took care of our daughter who lives nearby and visited us.

The Halekulani embraces the deepest form of Hawaiian Aloha - every single staff member at every moment. We have travelled throughout the world over 25 years and the Halekulani is simply the most comfortable, warm, hotel we have ever stayed in. Many of the staff have been there since we first started to visit over 20 years ago. That says everything! House Without a Key - still terrific & lively. La Mer is an incredible restaurant- serene and elegant - don’t miss it. A slice of heaven on earth!

The rooms and the facilities within the entire hotel is amazing. The staff has that "Asian" culture, which I love! Very humble, kind, patient and respectful. I can't say enough about the rooms. I look forward to our next visit to the Halekulani! Best hotel stay ever!

Room renovations are excellent. But if the fridge was situated higher it would have easier access for the elderly not that it is an issue. The decor pallet is soothing and restful and love the settee. Linens and pillows are luxurious but be warned if you like soft beds you won't find them here. The hotel is our favorite and we only stop in Waikiki to treat ourselves to the amazing architecture, decor, rooms, pool, buffet, views and the transformitave ambience. The check-in and departure are effortless and staff is remarkable in attending to your comfort. Well worth the value for a luxurious hotel.

We stayed for 5 nights in an ocean front room. My wife enjoyed swimming in the pool and ocean. The jazz music at Lewers Lounge was a highlight. The Sunday brunch buffet at Orchids was great. And, the service by the staff was excellent.
