Very good location for visiting Over the Rhine area. Hotel was remodeled and renovated at some point but was not cared for since. Rooms were dark and bedding was old. Ever been to a Hotel where the bedding was questionable. Yup....this is one of those places. Bathroom shower not very clean. staff was trying but overall glad to get home!

The staff was very accommodating and the hotel itself was incredible for an unexpectedly low cost. I will definitely be staying here again on my next trip into/through Cincinnati. While the restaurant may seem a little pricey upon view of the menu, the food is phenomenal. Don't expect a wide beer selection. It's not that kind of bar but the...

This is an old mansion converted into a hotel, comfortable and unique rooms. The history of the home and surrounding area was a big part of the experience. It is located in the older part of the city and we walked down half a block and there is a really nice park and the road was old cobblestone. Across the...

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We'd just like to comment on a few of the things you've raised: RE Unique Rooms: The hotel was originally built in 1872. Each room, in keeping with the theme of the surrounding area, is themed after a famous composer-- IE. Mozart, Copland, Beethoven, etc. RE Washington Park and Music...

We stayed for a recent long weekend and stayed with friends at the Symphony. The entire staff was wonderful and the place is very quaint with the music motif. Breakfast is amazing. Just note that the two third floor bedrooms share a bathroom and the management will tell you that.

Hi Denise, We greatly appreciate you taking the time to leave a review! Recently we've had our partners at Expedia, Hotels.com, etc update our listings so the Beethoven and Schubert rooms now clearly state they are Shared Bathrooms (European style) in their room titles. I also wanted to mention that Monday-Friday mornings we offer a continental breakfast for guests complete...

I had the pleasure of indulging at the Symphony Hotel this past weekend! Buz, the bartender, made the best drinks I could have ever wanted. I will definitely be back and recommend to friends and family!

My wife and I stayed at the Symphony Hotel in September, 2016. The hotel is a Victorian era building, updated in a modern, tastefully elegant style, faithful to that time. Our room was one of the smaller ones; each is named for a famous composer. The room was nicely decorated, faithful to the era and composer, with all the modern...

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with us with other potential guests! We take pride in the hotel's rich history (Built in 1872) and timely décor. Little known to most guests, the Victorian bust in our historic dining room is an original piece, crafted along with the original building in the 1800s. Regarding private bathrooms, seven...

We were in town for one night for an event at Rhinegeist brewery. Symphony hotel was located very conveniently. They have their own parking lot off the street. Quiet and cozy room. All the usual hotel amenities but feels like a B&B.

I'll first say my wife and I were staying in OTR for our anniversary which fell on a Monday. There is not a lot open on Mondays down there, so keep that in mind when planning a trip. That did not impact my rating of the Symphony Hotel however. Overall it was clean, cozy, and exactly what we were looking...

Left a message in the morning and no one called back. Called them back and they passed me from person to person. Online price didn't match phone price. Said they would hold the room while the price was clarified. I called back and they said they gave the room away. It was obvious they didn't care. Bad management.

First word of advice, if you are looking for a quiet place keep looking. Although everything wrapped up around 11pm. The Symphony Hotel is a blend of a fine boutique hotel and a B&B.
