We had a great trip to Bridge Bay campground. It was quite full at the end of July. I had an advance reservation. The 1st campsite they gave us was literally 10-20 feet from the bathroom door with a power line hanging right over the tent pad. Not too scenic!. Luckily I was able to get them to change us... More

Stayed at the tent only camp ground for 3 days, has a parking pad for your car, a camp table, a bear proof metal container (shared among a few tent sites) and a fire ring that you can have a nice evening or morning fire in. the ground for pitching the tent is not on grass and the dirt is... More

Liked the campground, the camp hosts were not so nice this year. Very quick to jump on you for violations, we kept to the rules. Next year we may try another site. We were in loop A out in the open. Not much privacy.

We made advanced reservations at this Xanterra-run campground despite mixed reviews, but we booked only 2 weeks ahead, and this was the only place available in Yellowstone. Our site, C158, was a pull-thru and long enough for our 32'9" motorhome, but one in which the door opened right onto the road. I didn’t like this for safety, as we have... More

Stayed one night in tent campsite and there was enough room to pull suv in backwards. Picnic table and fire ring with wood provided. Very quiet and clean. Very close to RV campground to take showers. Great start too our day at Yellowstone!

If you like privacy try to get a site in one of the upper loops. The lower loops (a-c and maybe d) are pretty much in an open meadow. This campsite is a great launching point to explore the rest of the park, as it is perfectly situated between Old Faithful Geyser Basin and Yellowstone Falls. It is common to... More

We reserved a tent only site in May 2016 and requested a wooded private site. They do not allow reservations by campsite, only a general request is possible. When we showed up the evening of August 20 we were assigned Loop I #422, a beautiful, wooded quite site in the tent only section. The first few loops are barren, no... More

So we stayed in Yellowstone a total of 3 days. Two at the Madison campground and one day here. The campground was more crowded here and it felt less private as well. Bathroom facilities were nice and clean. Campsite convenient but felt small compared to the Madison campground. My husband and I laughed that when you look at this campsite,... More

From check in to check out Bridge Bay was terrible. We booked an XL tent site in a specific loop. But instead we received a tiny site no where near there that one member of our party from overseas accurately describes as resembling a refugee camp. It was essentially a sloping open field devoid of trees with a bathroom planted... More

We were able to call the night before and book a stay in the campground. Because people make reservations often a year in advance, there are many cancellations which make this possible. If you want to stay in the same site for several days, you should call for a reservation because they reserve individual campsites. I recommend arriving around 8... More
