We actually had an RV and my husband came in a few days after us so added on a room at Canyon Lodge. It was so new it still had blue tape where they needed to come fix things in the final walk thorugh. It had just snowed (IN JUNE!!!) so we were thankful to have a chance at a...

We stayed in a western cabin, which would have been a short walk from Canyon centre, but in the rain we chose to drive! It looked out onto woodlands and we saw elk and a bison there at sunset. The room was huge and well appointed, with all mod cons and an efficient heater. The only slight downside was that...

We really loved the comfort and location of the lodge. We were told the building we were in was only a year old and they seemed new and clean. I loved being located so close to the Yellowstone Grand Canyon and the Hayden Valley. The housekeeping was amazing and tried to do everything to make us comfortable. The only negatives...

When I booked here, I had no idea that we would be staying in the BRAND NEW hotel building! It was beautiful and quite and upgrade! Our dinner was great! and I loved how "green" this hotel is. While I am not sure of how the original hotel is, the new buildings could not be nicer! Will return for sure!

Canyon Lodge is actually a series of fairly modern buildings with some 300 rooms in total. You must first go to Canyon Village and the registration is on your left when driving in. The people here are extremely helpful and very friendly. You are then allocated a room in one of the lodges that make up the area. When I...

Our room was very clean and comfortable! We found the staff to be very helpful. We had a quick check-in, and great parking. Driving to Mammoth, Lake, and West Thumb was very convenient! Great place to stay.

We booked relatively late (Yellowstone rooms get booked a year ahead) so were lucky to find some space in the smart new accommodation at this lodge, in a relatively large and expensive room. Rooms were spacious and comfortable though some of the building work was being finished in the car park. The building may be on a long-standing bison trail...

Cabin 12 at $200 a night. From the off you just would not bother. The access road was awful full of pot holes. The cabin surround was grim and parking adhoc. We had a lovely view of a septic dump tank from rear window. The cabin itself was large 2 twin beds (comfortable) table 2chairs and a very nice bath and shower. It also had a/c...

My husband and I stayed for three nights in September in a Canyon Standard Queen room at the Chittenden Lodge at Canyon Lodge. Canyon Lodge is made up of several lodge buildings, all of which I believe are very new. I was very pleased that our room overlooked a wooded area instead of the parking lot. The room itself is...

The cabins are loctaed down hill from the Canyon Village area. We never walked between the cabins and Village because of construction and the lack of a sidewalk doesn't make it safe as there is almost always vehicular traffic. Aside from the cabins and a mile long nature trail to the Canyon rim, all action (food, visitors center, shopping) is...
