Rooms are rustic but the surroundings can't be beat with a huge array of day hikes many of which you can start from the Lodge itself, with shuttle buses taking you to trail heads that are more far afield. At night dine in the lodge and share stories with other travelers from around the US and even the world. Overall,...

All the staff here are incredible, friendly and very helpful. We arrived after dinner had finished for the night but a lovely staff member still went and got us hot drinks from the kitchen and cutlery so we could make our own food. They also gave us great directions to the hot springs an hour away which made for a...

Spend time in Tuolumne Meadows, a magical natural wonder. Enjoy Hot showers, Delicious meals and a soft bed in a warm tent cabin all provided by an enthusiastic staff. A lodge pole pine forest perfumes the air. birds sing and the river splashing on rocks makes a peaceful sound. Stars shine brightly in the dark night sky. This is a...

The place is clean and comfortable, although beds could be a little bit better. The staff is very friendly and they attended promptly and kindly our requests. Because of the bears, they do not have a place in the premises where you can cook your own meals. However, they have a restaurant (although it was a little bit expensive for...

Great getaway camping location, but don't come for the wi-fi, come for all the beauty around this camp. Plan to disconnect for a few days. But if you must reconnect, visit nearby Lee Vining or visit the main lodge on the valley floor. DO NOT miss the short 15 min flat hike to TWIN BRIDGES.

A good way to start and end a high country backpacking trip, as well as a very pleasant choice for an outdoors vacation with family. The tent cabins are very comfortable, the Franklin stoves are admirable, the food is very good, and the opportunities to enjoy nature - hiking, swimming, taking photographs, listening to knowledgeable Park Rangers - abound.

We had such a good time here! Liked this camp as it was cooler and less crowded than in the Valley. Our canvas tent was clean and welcoming with plenty of blankets and firewood for the cool night. The on site resturant provided yummy meals, and the atmosphere around the nightly campfire were friendly and relaxing. The surrounding areas were...

First time at Tuolumne Meadows but definitely not the last. Remember to dress warm for the evenings as it gets cold!! The tent accommodations were rustic, decently clean and kind of fun! No electricity, so, it was back to basics in the tent! Everyone at the lodge, customers and staff were friendly. The communal nature of the restaurant added some...

Tent cabins with heat, beds and showers available. Rustic and maybe loud neighbors, but beautiful location and dining hall is good, and has variety. Great place to start or end a backcountry trip. Heavy wool blankets tend to slide off the sheets, especially on double beds.

The surroundings were very beautiful. Great hiking trails. The staff was very friendly and accommodating . We were able to easily drive to other attractions within the park. We were able to drive to hiking areas outside the park.
